Glasgow Warriors v Ospreys, Scotstoun, Friday 19 April, 19:35 hrs
First topic message reminder :
Oh well after the disaster on Friday in Llanelli we need a huge performance from The Warriors against a tough team. Do Jackson and Pyrgos carry the can for Friday or does Toonie stick to his guns - how is that for a mixed metaphor ?
My team :-
Hogg
Maitland
DTH
Matawalu
Weir
Horne
Dunbar
Grant
MacArthur
Welsh
Swinson
Kellock
Strauss
Barclay
Wilson
Bench: Low, Hall, Harley, Slamont, Pyrgos, Reid, Ryder, Jackson

He really likes getting rid of Welsh back rowers

RDW this isn't the first time this sort of thing happened. It was the same in tge pro 12 final. Both props got sent off.

Scrum 5. The commentators are even more one eyed than the ausies.

What a player Matawalu is. One of the best players, if not the best, in the Pro 12. Wish he was Welsh!

Ouch looks like a sore one for Weir
Re: Glasgow Warriors v Ospreys, Scotstoun, Friday 19 April, 19:35 hrs
Well he's not going to get the chance to shank any more tonight, by the looks of that.

Doubt it's a broken femur!
Looks like ankle or lower leg, no obvious break so hopefully just ligament damage

Awww, Weir clapping the crowd as he lies on the stretcher with an oxygen mask on
Re: Glasgow Warriors v Ospreys, Scotstoun, Friday 19 April, 19:35 hrs
Poor Weir. Looks bad. They usually bring out the oxygen if it's a break. Fairdo's to him applauding as he's stretchered off though.

It looked more like above his knee went as he was twisted over on it. Hopefully not broken femur, painful if it was. Maybe just ligaments then.

How come he's leaving (reportedly)? Have they not renewed or has he asked to leave? Very good player. Thought France would be a destination but hear the Scarlets possibly, which seems a bit of a step down to me???
