Yeah it was wishful thinking more than anything else.

Juddley needs to try and make things difficult for him I guess.

If O'Caravan is keen to retire (I'm not actually convinced myself, sounded more like a whinger getting in an early excuse in case he loses to me) then he shouldn't have much stomach for a dour struggle.

I love these demonstrations. They never go well. Steve's a great sport when it comes to 1985; if it was me then I'd never speak of it again and throw a tantrum. I suppose the 6 successful finals must help a bit...

More than he used to. All I've seen him wear before this tournament is a single black one.

Well, I assume he only had one. He might have many of the same colour.

with regards to a certain player ' retiring ' again , my mate said last night that he would rather pay to go watch a exhibition with him then a tournament without him

Maybe he could become like the Harlem Globetrotters? Then again if he hates playing snooker perhaps he should just go into the family business of armed robbery or porn shops.

Hopefully the plastics can crawl back into the woodwork, but I get the feeling young Juddley (who's probably going to get hammered now) is their next target.

Couple of good pots from Juddley suggests he won't fold as quickly as some.

And that's just prize money, there'll be sponsorship money on top of that too which has disappeared (plus TV money etc).

If I had earned £6m, you could be darned sure I'd spend it all as well. Why have money if not to spend it?

And regardless of his family past, his personality or his beliefs, he still has 4 more WCs than any of us, and possibly a final one before he retires. Good on him.

I'm not a "hater" per se, I think he's a wonderful snooker player but comes across as one of the most unlikeable people I've ever seen.

I am a hater (well as much as you can be of someone you've never met and who has no real affect on your life).

Wouldn't say I was particularly bitter about it though. Every pantomime needs a villain.

He's more of a pantomine villain to me. I can't actually hate him because I've never met him but when he walks on I want them to shine green lights onto him and get the audience to boo
