No comment made by Messi as yet. Apparently it amounts to around 4 million Euros - enough to carry a prison sentence of 1-4 years if found guilty.

If this does go through, it would be a real shame as he'll have essentially ruined his legacy. Maradona went a bit crazy towards the end of his career but Messi is in the prime of his career so a prison sentence would be a real dampener on what could be the best ever player.
