The Official "Ipswich Town win the 2014/15 Championship" thread
First topic message reminder :
I'm confident for the new season for Ipswich. Starting to make some good signings on the cheap i.e Jay Tabb, Daryl Murphy and Cole Skuse. Ipswich have a very good spine in the team now. Just need a couple of wingers and another GK to sign and we will do well this season. Tough start against Reading and QPR as the first two away games of the season though.

David Nugent just loves scoring against you guys!! 13 goals in 12 games for all his clubs. We were lucky to escape with all 3 pioints to be honest.

Yes Big Mick doing a sterling job. That beard is majestic!!!
"This is how it feels to be Ipswich, this is how it feels to be small, you sign Murphy, we sign Van Wolfswinkel, Van Wolfswinkel!"
In all seriousness though I got a bet on you making the playoffs. Like you lot this year

We won't make the playoffs in my opinion, the football is too one-dimensional. Hoping we get norwich in the draw this afternoon

One of my favourite players when he was at Ipswich, would you like me to send you some questions?

Going to barnsley game today, should be a classic. Paul Green has signed from Leeds to bolster central midfield

McGoldrick out for the season
Those slim playoff hopes probably go with him

Yeah McGoldrick gone. Huge loss. Can't really see Ipswich getting the play offs without him. Top half finish is still improvement though.

McGoldrick is our only striker who can actually score goals consistently so it's a massive blow. Ebanks-Blake is back in training, hopefully he can fill his boots but the playoff chances have gone unfortunately

Wouldn't say there gone, anyone can get the play offs in the top half, if they put a run together. But i just doubt you lot will be the side that does it.
Forest and upwards, there all confirmed i think. One spot remaining IMO.

Wigan, Brighton or Reading I would guess would get 6th place

We'll get absolutely slaughtered if we went up this season, our wingers are average, our rb is not the best and there is little creativity in midfield.
