Welcome to v2WF Indian Summer

This site was started in 2011 after the announcement of the BBCs intention to close its 606 forum.
 
From that bombshell, this site was created and founded by members of the 606 Wrestling section.
 
Each of these members were part of a role playing game based on writing storylines for wrestlers called E-feding. Hero, Enforcer and myself first got our collective minds together and sharpened by pretending to be internet wrestlers.
 
Although this started on the BBC 606, the roleplaying carried over into the v2Forum. And although the actual storylines we were part of have since moved away, the three of us (with a great deal of help from past e-feders) would like to remember what brought us all together in the first place.
 
In that spirit, I am announcing the lead up to a celebration of this sites genesis.
 
At the end of September 2013, the v2 Forum is having a one off E Federation extravaganza called Indian Summer. The idea of the show is to set aside any grievances and friction that may have grown over the years, with the sole intention of creating an incredible event where all efeders of the past can come together to create the fun and creativity that was the big bang of this site.
 
This One Night Only show is open to everyone, new and old. Whether you are from 6CW, 6WE, WWA, TAW, 6WF, Grindhouse or anywhere else, you can enter your creation to take part.
 
There will be 4 trophies on the line (not belts as this is a one off, possibly annual, event) that the best promoer will win be awarded at the end of the tournament. You can only enter one tournament per character so make sure to choose wisely. Please note that this will be a fair representation of the creativity of the promos and not past glories, spelling accuracy or quantity. If you entertain, you will have a good chance of coming out on top.

Each trophy will have a sponsor that is automatically in that category - so if you see someone from the four above that you want to promo with, thats the one to enter.
 
The application process will start shortly, so please make sure to get in early to help us build the card fairly. Each trophy will have a few twists and turns, so make sure to keep reading!
 
Sign up will close on the 16th August which is when the card will be published. You will then have two weeks to promo for the show. The show will be split into two - a qualifying show before the grand final 3 days later.

There will be a longer, more in-depth description going up about this tomorrow, but I am just putting the feelers out as I want to get everyone involved. Not just my idea, but the brainchild of the Admin team on this site who want e-fedding to go back to its roots.

Hi guys

Basically just bringing something to your attention of a tournament I am currently planning, to take place around the end of September, beginning of October. This tournament will involve members of 6CW/EWF, 6WF and Grindhouse Wrestling in a battle to determine who is the greatest superstar of them all.

Although this is a chance to bring all of these feds together, it is also a great chance to boost the image of your fed and walk away with the bragging rights.

The tournament will be held on this site and everyone here have been extremely kind to allow me to post here about the tournament, hopefully get you all involved.

The tournament will take place over a week long period but right now this is about signing up so that I can get an idea of the numbers involved. The deadline for signing up is Sunday 18th August and from there I will plan the draw for the tournament and all other details. The setup will then be posted a few days later and all contestants will have 3-4 weeks to promo their arses off for the grand prize.

There will be a storyline tied in to it but it will have no bearing on current storylines of any fed, just a chance to do something different and have some fun. If it is successful then it is something I would like to do annually.

Hope you guys get involved. Cheers for your time. There is no limit on characters you can enter but if you could please state which character names you would like to throw forward so I know what I am dealing with.

to answer Blades question, you can only enter your character in 1 tournament.

However, if you have more than one character, you can enter the second character in one of the other trophies.

To be fair to the writers, I would say that 2 characters is most probably the max we want entered.

Well I want to use Viper and Plague and like the idea of being part of the tag one. Thunder and Viper work well together...Plague only works on his own really. Viper probably is better on his own though.

There is no limit to the amount of people can enter my tournament. I will accomodate as many as possible. Cant comment for the rest

So far we have representatives from 6CW,EWF, 6WF, Grindhouse Wrestling and Viking Wrestling Federation, which is great. But all four tournaments still have plenty of spaces to fill, so if you are an e-fedder then this is your chance to step up and be a part of something special.

Just wanted to let you all know, we're in the process of launching WWA's Season 6 in the coming weeks and are recruiting for old, returning and new members.

Very much like EFW/6WF, WWA consists of creating your very own wrestling promotion but instead of creating characters, you have past and present stars from yesterday/today featuring wrestler's from WWE, TNA, WCW, ECW and from independent companies all over the world including UK, Mexico, Japen etc..
