Re: London Irish
Thought you might say that, personally think de Villiers would fit right into that backline for you and make you a stronger team. Whereas SBW would compliment my game very well too.
Are you looking for another player to throw in and you throw someone back, or could it be something like throwing in Geraghty or Eves to give you some further English options?

Let me know the players that interest you and we can go from there if you like?

Re: London Irish
Mermoz is young and would be tasty with Fourie, I would look to add to the deal but not with Evans or JOC

How about dave wilson + de villiers for sbw?

Re: London Irish
A lot of the players you mentioned are untouchables because they are English - I could potentially let Attwood go, but if you wanted Stevens I'd need Tiny coming my way.

Re: London Irish
I'd need someone coming back my way too, as de Villiers is just as good as SBW and I couldnt lose him and Attwood in the deal - I'd lose de Villiers, Wilson and Watson in a deal for SBW, plus £8m?

alternatively if you threw in Kennedy I could throw in Attwood?

Don't think Mermoz is that far from SBW so I wouldn't include those two mate, I'll leave it

How about de Villiers and Wilson, plus Attwood on loan for the season for SBW?

Re: London Irish
Just think that for all his good points, he has an awful lot of weaknesses still, which I don't see him ever really ironing out as his focus is not 100% on rugby and being the best he can be.

Re: London Irish
Was having second doubts on the deal, as de Villiers is one of my favourite players and was reading how SBW is being eyed up for a big money move away from NZ - either to an Aussie union team or back to league!
Money Bill WIlliams is a fitting nickname from the sounds of it!

Re: London Irish
I'm not really interested in selling Attwood mate, not a big fan of Botha - I had him originally in this game and gave him a free transfer..
