The Beauty Of A Warren Card
The following bet can be found at about 7-1:
Saunders to beat Ryder
Gavin to beat Barnes
Chisora to beat Gerber
Walsh to beat Murray
Matchroom card
Mathews to beat Woodhouse
Fielding to beat Akrong
Smith to beat Mendy
You could go ultra-cautious and remove Derry vs Curtis but the rest all look certs.

Re: The Beauty Of A Warren Card
Its a bit like those pick 4 or 5 teams to win football bets The certainty normally let's you down. Boxing is a bit easier to predict though.
These days doubles, trebled and accumulators don't really need to be touched as betting can be done live. I know a bookie and he has no problem with people doing doubles and trebles because it is hard to get one winner up never mind two or three. Better to back one at a time through the evening as the fights progress.
There's always that fella that has a big treble riding on the final result of Utd winning the Champs Lge and when they don't he has lost everything.
Still it would be worth seeing a stat of how many Warren fighters lose on his promotions. Although it would seem he sets up his fighters to win I wonder how many don't. Hard to gauge that one.

Try Oddschecker (they'll redirect you to the best bet).
Looking at it again, I'm sure there were eight fights (possibly Butler?).

Re: The Beauty Of A Warren Card
Ill check that out now....even as an accumi 7/1 seems very good given most bookies only have Derry & Saunders as anything approaching 50/50 fights...
Re: The Beauty Of A Warren Card
Without the Derry bet, Ladbrokes offer 5.6 for Walsh,Smith,Smith,Chisora,Saunders,Gavin & Butler to win...not sure those odd's are that great to be honest.
Change Saunders to a Ryder win and Walsh for a Ochieng win (both possible IMO) and you'll get odds of 20/1 ...
Sticking £15 quid on the first and a £5 on the second.

Don't bet is my advice..It's a mugs game...
Anyway don't bet against Derry..If a nuclear bomb went off he'd find some way to withstand it..
what a survivor..

Never warmed to Derry's social media presence. Very lucky against Crolla last time.

I do, having won £182 on a football accumulator, so no need to worry yourself Strongback...
Have a far better chance of winning some money this way than sticking a quid on the lottery every week which soon mounts up and is played by millions of people week in week out!

I've lost bets, no problem telling people...and given I have said I have put the bet on already then you'll know about my loss should the bet not come off.

I nearly won the euromillions last month, I was only 5 numbers away from 150 million pounds.

All the "British Stoppages" from the referees makes backing Warren fighters more attractive.

There are rumours that some of the stoppages on last nights Warren card were accelerated due to the show going way over schedule.

Re: The Beauty Of A Warren Card
People going on about it to Bunce, Warren and boxnation on twitter. The show ran way over schedule apparently as they gambled that some of the fights that went the distance would have early stoppages. There were people on saying the Chisora fight and the following fight were stopped quickly so the main event could get started.Lumbering_Jack wrote:Rumours from where?catchweight wrote:There are rumours that some of the stoppages on last nights Warren card were accelerated due to the show going way over schedule.

Re: The Beauty Of A Warren Card
I dont know what they are basing it on. Probably 1.the refs stopping a couple of fights deemed premature stoppages and 2. on a show that was running way past schedule due to the organisers gambling on fights not going the distance and trying to cram in more fights than could be catered for.Lumbering_Jack wrote:So some idiot fans who are basing it on absolutely nothing?catchweight wrote:People going on about it to Bunce, Warren and boxnation on twitter. I cant speak for the intelligence of those making the comments.
Another rumour is that Frank Warren had security prevent Barry Hearn getting into the ring after the main event because he doesnt like him.

Re: The Beauty Of A Warren Card
Frank stopped Barry Hearn getting into the ring to console Ryder etc.
Given the trouncing Matchroom have given Warren recently I'm not surprised.
Barry was laughing about it. He said people under pressure make odd decisions.
It's all a game of one-upmanship and Hearn is winning.
All the same lets see Matchroom put on a Warren fighter and then let Frank flounce around the ring afterwards.
