Where are you getting head to head figures? Are these pro 12 league figures or does it include Hcup fixtures?

It's straight off the Rabo website.GunsGerms wrote:Where are you getting head to head figures? Are these pro 12 league figures or does it include Hcup fixtures?
Looking forward to heading down to Turnipland for this one. Always a good place to pick up a win...

Yup off the rabo site. They're celtic/magners/rabo league stats.
Probable Munster team
15 Hurley
14 Earls
13 Lualala
12 Downey
11 Zebo
10 Keatley
9 Sheridan
8 Coughlan
7 Dougal
6 POM
5 POC
4 DOC
3 Archer
2 Sherry
1 Kilcoyne
Thats just my guess. It could be very different with Cronin, Hanrahan, Johne Murphy, Dineen John Ryan all impressing of late.

Pretty cool that the head to head is so even. Good for Irish rugby.

Is Ryan the lad who played tight head at the weekend? He had a great game at scrum time.

Yeah, the blond haired fella. He has started the season well and will put Archer under pressure.

I guess this will be the 1st game where we see the who is genuinely first choice for both teams. Should be very interesting.
Possible leinster team:
1. Healy
2. Struass
3. Ross (I think Moore is playing better and will be number 1 by the end of the season)
4. McCarthy
5. Toner
6. Ruddock
7. Ryan
8. Heaslip
9. Boss
10. Madigan (almost 50/50 Gopperth)
11. D Kearney
12. D'Arcy
13. BOD
14. McFadden
15. R Kearney

Looks close enough. Definitely Mads. Likely Sob at 7, Murphy on the bench and Ryan nowhere.
Possibly Tuqiri on the bench or maybe even ahead of Dave K.

Who do Munster fans see as their best 10 right now. Both JJ and Keatley have been playing well. JJ is a great goal kicker and does other things well and Keatey really has the backs firing IMO and is more exciting to watch. Thoughts?

How's Tuquiri fitting in Jen?
Kirchener looked good for the Boks at the weekend so may be a good signing after all for Leinster.

Tuqiri has played less than 30 minutes before his hammer went. Appears that it's not too serious. He looked hungry enough in attack, but was in a team that was absolutely sh1te in defence. Hard to single him out on it.
How did he look? Didn't have much opportunity to look any way at all. Slim chance that he may play a part v the Munsters. Hard to know.
JJ Hanrahan doesn't look ready for HC duty IMHO. Massive potential, and barring injury he should pass Keatley soon enough. Never got the gametime last season to kick on though.
Munster are a bit of an enigma so far. They have looked decent at times but they have not played a top 6 team yet. This is a derby game so all bets are off. They always raise their game for me and my fellow Ladyboys. We will know more about where both teams are on Saturday.

They are saying Fitz has a chance of being involved too. Apparently he and Darcy trained separately yesterday and Lote took part in a non-contact game of rugby.

His missus would kill him. She may be "not all that scary" to you, but while the likes of Paul O'Connell may be scary to the rest of us..........
Paul O'Connell can't refuse to have sex with him....... Maybe I phrased that wrong.
It would probably be a relief rather than a burden then.

Re: Munster V Leinster [Sat 5 oct 18:45]
Training photo bibs suggest the following pack for Munster against Leinster.
Killer, Sherry, Archer (bench cronin, Varley, BJ).
Ryan & POC (DOC on the bench)
POM, Ronan, Coughlan (Stander on bench)
Keatley, Williams (Murray on bench)
Not many training photos of backs - Downey, Felix & Conway & Dineen looked like they were not starting so either subbing or not in 23.
Zebo was wearing a black top so who knows!
No sign of Earls or Johne at all.
Casey looks to be starting.
That is all for the moment!

I spotted this on the rabodirect website earlier. JJ putting Keatley under pressure although I hope Keatley gets a decent run of games this season. No need to rush JJ.

Agreed. It does look as if they are looking to get their money’s worth for the 3 months he is here. I can't recall Tuqiri ever playing centre and I was never overly impressed with him defensively. Glad hes facing Laulala and not Earls. I think earls would murder him for pace.asoreleftshoulder wrote:Not very impressed by Tuqiri at outside centre,Macken has been playing well and is more deserving of a shot imo.

Nice stat. Hope it is a belter. Wish list:LeinsterFan4life wrote:Out of the 46 players involved tommorow, a grand total of 4 of them are not IQ!
-Kick off with a full blown brawl.
-Then both teams run it end to end for 80 minutes. 4 tries each. Drawn game 1 minute left.
-Madigan wins the match by chipping it ahead in his own goal area, collects, side steps a few and runs the length of the pitch.
Not a lot to ask really is it?

Should be a good game. I agree Macken should be starting.
2 very strong teams, this game will show that the Rabo is a serious league, I can see this being the game of the weekend in Europe.

We shall see. Leicester/Northampton will be huge in AP, while Toulon host Clermont over in the T14. Clermont may well rest players though, unlike the 4 sides from Ireland and England who will be going at it hammer and tong. Ultimate winners could be Ulster, Castres, Ospreys and Edinburgh who host these sides next week.the-goon wrote:

It will be interesting to see how O'Mahony does as both captain and against one of the top back row units in Europe. I'm fairly sure Munster dominated in that area last season, but that was with the fantastic O'Donnell at 7. Can O'Mahony do it again?

Its quiet because the L'boy blue rinse brigade don't have DK or ROG to whinge about. They are already making excuses for Joe the Messiah and all the Ulster folk are trying hard to come up with reasons why the Irish team should be made up completely of Ulster players...not much reason in getting involved then.profitius wrote:This thread is very quiet!
