Where will they play their new Euro Cup Final?
If the clubs get their way and start a new competition but without approval from the governing bodies, where will they play the big games?
I can't see the stadiums owned by the governing bodies being made available.
Despite the pretentions of this (and indeed the current HC) being "pan European", it is actually only something of interest in the traditional Rugby strongholds, which means they'll have to go to football clubs in England/France, or the ever willing Wembley. Football clubs having largely rejected approaches for RWC 2015, I can't see those same ones agreeing to the Euro Rugby Cup.

Wembley, Stade de France, Olympic Stadium, Parc de prince, Stade Velodrome. Just off the top of my head, none owned by unions and all have or will have hosted rugby matches.

Oh and the walkers stadium, Ricoh, stadium MK, Madjeski, they've also all held Rugby Matches. Or what about Barcelona Olympic Stadium? And didn't a stadium in Belgium have one of the Stade Francais games in last years Heineken cup?

Also where do you get the information that most football stadiums said no to hosting RWC games? Only Old Trafford said no as far as I am aware, and only after the intervention of Fergie to say he wasn't happy. Old Trafford has hosted one off fixtures before and I think the main concern was what several games in succession would do to the pitch.

Probably. After all the WRU are always willing to lease it to the highest bidder.HammerofThunor wrote:Millennium Stadium.

This, right here folks, is the first proposal for the Johnsons Paint Franglo Cup of Qualifiers that would actually make more likely to watch.21st Century Schizoid Man wrote:Somalia ?

Despite the amount of sugar used in the beverage, it would seem that the IanBRu, is in fact, quite bitter.IanBru wrote:This, right here folks, is the first proposal for the Johnsons Paint Franglo Cup of Qualifiers that would actually make more likely to watch.21st Century Schizoid Man wrote:Somalia ?

WUM or not guys I really wish I could dis-agree with you and put up a decent argument but Lewis and Dickering are nothing but money grabbing bar stewards so yeah if the price was right they would take it.LondonTiger wrote:Probably.
