Re: Ulster v Leicester team news
Both teams will be stronger At Welford road.
We haven't got out of 3rd gear yet.
Not only Afoa and Pienaer but by then I can see Henderson and fingers crossed, Ferris starting.
My guess is the 5th and 6th rounds of the HC are Ferris' target
Also Gilroy to come back into the mix

Re: Ulster v Leicester team news
Yeah know the feeling about about not getting out of the early gears, we've flirted with third gear but not for long, we've been very stodgy so far this season. The intensity in defence against Ulster was a real positive and forced a good deal of the Ulster errors. That's something we have lack this season and with key players still to return I hope we can build on that.
Need a result vs Treviso next week now. LBP away from home is a good start but Treviso aren't the whipping boys of previous years but we still need maximum points against them at home and if we can manage it away.

OK I should have added the obligatory " " after my "weaker" comment!VietGwentRevisited wrote:Ulster should have won more comfortably - and would have done if not for their own errors, errors perhaps forced by Tigers defence - but what makes you suggest they will be stronger come January and Tigers weaker? The Great Aukster wrote:I actually fancy Ulster's chances at Welford Road because they will be stronger by then and the Tigers weaker.
Come January there is every chance Leicester will have their first choice LH playing, a genuine No6, halfbacks that are in form, first choice centres, wing and full back. Feels to me that at home and with a raft of players back they should be much stronger?
The question is whether any credibility is given to the PRL party line that the AP is much tougher than the PRO12, because if that is really true then Leicester by definition must get relatively weaker the longer the season goes on.

I guess they are having their weakness now. Should be bloody obvious that Lions and Tigers dont always mixThe Great Aukster wrote:OK I should have added the obligatory " " after my "weaker" comment!VietGwentRevisited wrote:Ulster should have won more comfortably - and would have done if not for their own errors, errors perhaps forced by Tigers defence - but what makes you suggest they will be stronger come January and Tigers weaker? The Great Aukster wrote:I actually fancy Ulster's chances at Welford Road because they will be stronger by then and the Tigers weaker.

There are enough Euro based threads discussing the future of the HEC for you to Wum on so please so not do it on threads discussing this years tournament.
