Fury should never become H/W champion. This man is beyond vile. Seriously he would completely damage the reputation of H/W champions of the past. I have never rooted for flash David Haye but I hope he knocks Fury out into retirement.

I agree the thought of him holding the same belt as such pillars of society as Sullivan, Liston and Tyson makes me apoplectic with rage.ONETWOFOREVER wrote:Fury should never become H/W champion. Fury's an alright guy away from the cameras -- this is all publicity seeeking drivel, he announced he was going to become "the bad guy" a few days back.
Trask talking sells -- look at the likes of Malignaggi, Broner and Mayweather.
Says more about society if you ask me -- Fury's just playing the markets.

Unapologetic and confirmed racist, to be fair most people at the time were but Sullivan could be pretty extreme even by the standards of the time.ONETWOFOREVER wrote:What did Sullivan ever do.......apart from drink.Rowley wrote:I agree the thought of him holding the same belt as such pillars of society as Sullivan, Liston and Tyson makes me apoplectic with rage.ONETWOFOREVER wrote:Fury should never become H/W champion. Someone should maybe go and explain the Paret/Griffith situation to show him that throwing about these petty insults is not the right thing to do.

So Maywethaer and Broners antics speak volumes about society but Fury is just being clever???
Jermaine Defoe sleeps around and is labeled a poor role model, George Best done the same thing but even worse and he is ''just living out every schoolboy's dream harmless stuff'' TOSH

Ben Dirs has confirmed, after speaking to Lewis' agent, what we all suspected: the story is a load of guff.
Re: Lewis coming back to save H/W boxing.....
I disagree, I think Fury should be allowed to insult Lewis to the nth degree without ever being aware of the Griffith/Paret situation up until thhey touch gloves in the centre of the ring and the ref slyly shows him some footage on his mobile then whispers "Good luck"Hammersmith harrier wrote:Someone should maybe go and explain the Paret/Griffith situation to show him that throwing about these petty insults is not the right thing to do.

Pele must really love the game and United to take such a pay cut to play for themrick_dagless wrote:he would probably get in the side at the moment ScottScottrf wrote:This isn't a story. Perhaps I should submit one: "Pele will play for Manchester United for £500,000 a week."
