31 - 39 now, with LI down to 14, it could happen.
LI have the TBP though, so just need a win

Grenoble have just scored their fourth try. 31-41. That takes LI out of BP range. If Grenoble win this they'll go second with 15 points with one to play (Us). The group may have just been blown wide open! Sounds like a great game on the radio.

LI getting a LBP doesn't matter, as long as they don't get 5pts

Grenoble might put out their best team Saint. But it gives us the chance of topping the pool. I'd rather be in with the chance.
And London Irish have their 4th try and the Bonus.
Keep 'em coming. Meanwhile, the Drags aren't going to throw away a 30 point lead are they?
Nope. Great finish by the big lad, Amos.

Bloody hell. I don't believe what i'm hearing. Irish scored, Grenoble got a yellow. Irish had a lineout. Over threw it. Pick it up and go under the post. 43-41. 5 Mins left.

Can still go through as one of 3 best runners up, just gives us a horrible away trip

You're capable of going to France and getting 4 or 5 points against whichever team Grenoble put out. I'd have some leaders on board like Warbs though. I'd still like to see 6, Warburton, 7, Navivdi, 8, Vosawai.

Thought only the 5 group winners proceed to meet the 3 from the other comp?

Unless I've miscalculated I think Blues at worst will finish as 3rd best runner up and therefore go through even if they get nothing next week ... Edinburgh and Bordeaux are 1st and 2nd in pool 4 but play each other next week and both currently have fewer points than Blues (2 and 3 fewer respectively) so one of them will finish lower in the ranking as even if they get level on match points their PD and tries scored won't equal Blues. Oyonnax are the current runners up in pool 5 and are too far behind to catch Blues.

Well spotted.
Here's the knockout stage format from wiki;
"The eight qualifiers will be seeded according to performance in the pool stage, and compete in the quarter-finals, which will be held on the 3/4/5 April 2015. The four top seeds will host the quarter-finals against the lower seeds, in a 1v8, 2v7, 3v6 and 4v5 format."

If all goes well for us next week then Dragons should be in the top 2. If continuing to go well would that make it a home semi as well as quarter?

Will be good to see the two Welsh regions go through. Their focus will be on this more than the pro 12 should thry make it.

Dregs are thru already and barring a mad result elsewhere, so are we I believe. With the chance of a trinket, the players will be up for it no doubt as will the supporters. Nothing like a winner take all game. Also, Grenoble are out, so they could choose to field a weakened team against us next week.

Sounds like a decent win (3-28). While Irish beat Rovigo 34-6. Where does that leave you both in the qualifying stages?

We will have an away QF, looks like Exeter or Dragons?
It was looking like LI weren't going to get the TBP for a while, which would have given us a decent home QF as 2nd or 3rd seeds.

Not if you want to play the Dragons
If Exeter win with a TPB and a margin of greater than 40 points, they will qualify 2nd and we will play the Dragons
If Exeter win, with a TPB, we will play them
If Exeter win by more than 24, (without a TBP and >40pts) we will play them
If Exeter win without a TBP and by less than 24, we will play London Irish
If Exeter lose or draw, we will play LI

Currently 8 nil to Exeter.

Nor me. There's an opportunity here and it'll be a good payday for the Drags even though Cardiff will take them to the cleaners.

Sad too see that our former player of the season has been forced to retire after being diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular disorder.
