It was a good game and all, but I do strongly feel it's another game that shows why the TMO should be restricted to ruling on decisions in goal and very serious foul play only.
The amount of time spent on TMO decisions was a farce.

Agreed. I also think the IRB (or whoever it is who makes decisions in the world of rugby) need to start thinking about how to curb the beginnings of the 'play-acting to milk a penalty' lest we end up like soccer!Notch wrote:It was a good game and all, but I do strongly feel it's another game that shows why the TMO should be restricted to ruling on decisions in goal and very serious foul play only.

Seen the highlights - looked good.
Gutted for Catrakilis - he just didn't get any help.
How the eff does Seth Efrica keep producing these amazing loose forwards - Pieter Steph du Toit is another monster.

And he's not even a loose forward: He's a lock with the athleticism of a loose forward!George Carlin wrote:Seen the highlights - looked good.

RE: Catrakilis: to be honest, if I received a dodgy pass, looked up and saw Steph-Du Toit and Bismarck baring down at me, I think I'd also fumble,... and soil my pants...and have a nervous breakdown. So credit to Catrakilis for only fumbling...

I watched the game and thought the use of the TMO was fine - picked up fould play and players got their just deserts. I hate to see foul play missed at the time and cited later - yes the player gets punished but the team doesn't
