Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I'm just trying to ensure I have depth mate. If I lose Schofield I need a replacement second row coming my way and a centre, both of which are available during the WC period.

I just feel that it would ruin the depth I have built up mate, so I'll leave it. What for Claassens on his own?

Would probably do Lualala and Watson for Classens, Hipkiss and Grey? Know that you said you wouldnt mind having Watson a while back.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
for me its a short term gain that i'd be getting as its obvious lualala is rated highly by a lot of people (had 5 people try and deal) - and in all likelihood I am going to lose Phillips for 3 weeks as Wales arent getting out of their group. So if I were you I'd keep your bid for Payne, as I am getting more and more like a woman in terms of being unable to decide on things!

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Lol - don't worry I wont, he fits perfectly into my tactics though, in that I go for two big centres, a creative 10 and a back three that looks to score tries. He does what I need from him, a lot of people seem to think he's good too.
Do need a no9 though!

Ideally a 12 but Lowe can play either so could be a 13.

Can't really let Thion go. Can't weaken my world cup front 5.
I will think about who I could let go.

I would say Schofield for Claassens but having looked at my locks if I lose Schofield I wont have that many second rowers available during the WC.

See Kruger is starting at the weekend for the bulls mate , hoping he impresses was great at saints. He's kid is meant to be something special aswell.
Francois Venter from the bench is a good player , thought he was the Saffas best player at the JRWC.

Yeah mate , supposedly he's coming up north for the game time and to sort his attacking play out. Can see it being a loan type thing though he'll do two years up here and then go back to Leicester.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
wouldnt include Wilson in that deal at all mate - think I need to hang onto him as just seen Taulafo is def in the Samoan team, so I might need to keep hold of him.
am also enjoying seeing how many people slated Wilson and now want to sign him - think I've got 5 people bidding atm!

Not interested in losing Attwood mate - dont rate Schofield, he's 4-5th choice at Toulon and wouldnt say he's rated. I like Fitz but again dont think he's rated highly on here tbh.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
He has played there for Falcons so doesn't surprise me.
Read a Cockerill interview where he said he would be a tight head but he can play anywhere tbh.
Just needs to make sure his versatility doesn't turn him into a jack of all trades master of none sort of player.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I have only seen him at Hooker once tbf. That was when he came off the bench v Sale in the first game of the season lst year. he was practicing throwing in front of where I was sitting and he wasn't bad at all.
Couldnt ask for a better role model for an abrasive hooker than Cockerell

That's good news for me. Barnes and de jongh or kahui is pretty tasty although an injury prone pairing

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
what players have you got available mate? i dont really want to do a deal where i get a player who i lsoe during 6Nations - would prefer someone who is available all season. My squad has got too many players who disappear during Feb/March and Fitz would just add to that!

Not considering letting Attwood go mate - would let Wilson and Watson go for him though? (Ojo). Barritts a good player, but I've got a stupid amount of centres at the moment!

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Wouldnt consider selling Stevens for Ojo - gives me a huge loss there. I've kept Stevens since he got hsi ban and he gets better and better for Sarries in every game.
Wilson is in my opinion equal to Ojo - he's a current Eng int where Ojo isnt - got quite a few other people looking to sign him and know i could get a better deal for him than that
