Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I am probably the world's worst climber. Whereabouts in Liverpool is it being done?? Are you competing or just spectating?
I am currently using Sheridan to try and get Tonga'uhia. Desperate for a front row of him, Brits and Mujati.
If that fails I will decide whether I actually want to get rid of him. I still love Sheridan but just can't decide whether he is worth it as he is slowing down in the loose and will miss the world cup for me.
I will let you know if I can't get Tonga'uhia and decide to sell him.

I'd take 5 mil for Chris York. I have a few spaces in my squad and he is one whether I'm not sure whether I'll keep him or release him.

Of the list you gave could get Mullan and 36 involved.

Wasn't suggesting a straight deal that way for Juan Smith, just that of the list you gave they'd be available
Juan Smith and Topsy Ojo
for Matt Mullan, Billy Twelvetrees and Cory Jane

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
To be fair I'd be reluctant to sell if I was you as well.
I always like to have a little gamble with a couple of transfers in the off season. Giving you McCaw and Barnes for Pocock and Nonu was a gamble, which if Nonu had continued his 2010 form in 2011 I think would have payed off and I might have done you in the final, but I got killed at 12. Centres have been an issue for me from the start of this game 3 seasons ago.
Got to get lucky with one of them this year! lol

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Read was big for. Bowe not been top draw the past couple of months, but has enough reputation now to get by during a small lean spell.
I like the off season, you have to take a bit of a punt on who will come good next season, and the World Cup adds a bit of spice this time round.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Only issue I have with the deal is that I am going to struggle to replace Lualala as my whole game in the backs is built around a powerful 13 and I just know if I play Manu there next season there are about 5 guys on here who will say he will lose his temper in every game and cost me the win...
Would be prepared to lose the others though

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Cant lose Attwood mate, need that English player.
Might be tempted to include Lualala as per original deal, but need to identify a replacement 13 as well.
How do you think Mason will do in Union? Just signed for Toulon, he's the best league player I have ever seen, but at 31 he's a bit old to make the switch

Robshaw's a good player but not good enough to lose 3 English players who make my matchday 23 on a regular basis for.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
Trouble is you get Domingo and I rate him as by far my best front row forward and the best in Europe, he's 24 and is going to be the best in the world.
Lualala is class, that's why I'm not so sure about selling him - and to be honest look at the mess of Pete's centres for the last three years, he doesnt know anything about them lol.
He's the best 13 who will be in the game not at the WC .

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I havn't seen it yet , i'v got it Sky+ but still need to see. Surprised Leinster started with Kev at 6 i imagine they expected Northampton to bang it up the middle and kick for the corners. Kev was massive against the tigers at the set piece!
Shane Jennings is an awesome 7 and from what i'v heard changed the game when he came on.
Best way to approach a final in my opinion is to go out there and play as both teams are going to be nervous early doors and not 100% focused.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I don't see how any professional rugby player can be picked on for poor hands. If he did have poor hands he wouldn't have been wearing the Leinster 7 jersey in the biggest club arena in world rugby.
Think he'll be Ireland's 7 in the long run with Rhys Ruddock playing at 6 if Ferris doesn't make it back from injury. The Irish back row is so underrated its sick! Heaslip is the best 8 in world rugby for me no one comes close to him! Except maybe me

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
SOB is not a 7. he is a great ball carrier and will settle at 6 or 8.
Ireland have a problem at 7 as Kidney clearly doesn't fancy Jennings and Wally will go after the world cup. They have no natural 7 coming through who is ready to play international rugby, so SOB may get caps there out of necessity.

Re: Newcastle Falcons Fantasy Rugby
I think Read lacks the same presence in the loose as Heaslip , he's never left that great deal of an impression on me when i'v seen him play. He's got a great understanding of whats infront of him and what to do just feels he lacks any real physical presence.
Pete
Sean O'Brian has plenty of the attributes to make him a great link play 7 , he's got a fantastic off load , given time he'll improve his understanding of the game at international level , great acceleration and is pretty good at winning the turnover.

Parra not for sale mate, just can't bring myself to sell him.
Not sure what else to offer, thought 2 English players not going to the World Cup might be good for you. How many do you reckon you're going to lose to the World Cup? Is going to make the first couple of months of the new season interesting in this game!

No worries mate.
Seems like transfers deals are getting harder to get to across the board as people are pretty set on their squads now.

You are right there, his loose play is his strong point at the moment, good pace and hands for a big man. If he is serious about being a top class 4 needs to add a bit of dog to his game though, get the impression that although a fair old unit, he is a little bit too nice on the field. Bags of potential though, and I think with an experienced 5 alongside him could do very well in the Premiership next year.

Quite a big fan myself, being able to play both sides is invaluable.
