Need Help!! - email alerts

Just a quick question - how do I turn email alerts off?
Got home from work and checked my personal email and had 30 emails on thread updates.
How do I stop the alerts??

Assuming you haven't clicked the watch this thread button by accident, something I do on my iPhone regularly (in which case go back and 'unwatch') you probably need to go to your profile and check your preferences and notifications.

most likely you'll have a box ticked in preferences to auto email you if someone replies to a thread you posted in, but depending on your settings there's a few things you could get emails about!
