First topic message reminder :
Well, nothing on here much for discussion so thought this could begin.
At the moment Westisbest is probably pulling his hair out, whilst Wigan are marching on towards there second FA Cup in a row.

Re: The FA Cup
They were second best in Europe and in spain, lost most of the trophies and most of the head to head match ups with Barca in a two horse race. Yes coming in second in a two horse race with 18 other donkeys is basically finishing last.

Liverpool to triumph tomorrow I reckon. Let's say 1-2.
Jose has no shot at CL, Guardiola willl run him out of the CL just like he ran him out of Spain. David Luiz and or Terry will get opened up like a tin of beans by Bayern.
The difference between Jose's Real vs Guardiola's Barca and Jose's Chelsea vs Guardiola's Bayern is that Chelsea are the best defense on the continent. I mean, even a back four in a team of 10 men, with two right backs, a left back and a midfielder, including Bosingwa at centre back, after JT got sent off and Cahill limped off, held Barcelona and got a 2-2 draw from 2-0 down. So you think that our full strength D will be torn open by a group of attackers less talented than Barcelona's?
Have you not seen much of Chelsea this season. I love David Luiz but he will never play at CB in a game like that if JT and Cahill are both available. Even Azpilicueta would get in before Luiz by shuffling Brani to CB.

Not bloody likely.
Chelsea for the CL this season. I've always held a soft spot for the West Londoners.

IMHO, ITV have the best analysts. Clarke Carlisle, for example, is much better than Mark Lawrenson.

So Forest have a p*ss easy home time, so lucky!!!
Sunderland at home will take that. But there is no chance we will beat Hull.
City are through.
Arsenal vs Everton should be a decent game.

HT at Bramall Lane and its 1-0 still.
We've been fairly comfortable in possession so far, Clough could do with mentioning a QF vs Wednesday is in the offing, theyve been fairly flat so far

2 missed now!! Liverpool's nippy strikers are just a horrible match-up for Arsenal's defence. None of their defenders are light on their feet.

Yeah the Atmosphere does seem very flat/quiet. One could be forgiven for thinking there in a library.
1-0 Arsenal. Bit harsh on Liverpool. But hey that's football.

It's the acoustics, honest!!
It might be BT Sport because the crowd seem to make much less noise during their live games than on ITV or MotD highlights.

It's going to be one of those days where the end product just isn't going to be good enough for Liverpool.

Re: The FA Cup
It's been a bit rough, hasn't it!!? Aside from the first 5-10 minutes, Liverpool haven't really been in this. Sterling's been completely anonymous so they're either going to have to sub him or get him to switch sides with Sturridge.

Re: The FA Cup
I think Sterling has been probably the only player looking to create for Liverpool, Suarez needs to be moved centrally, you don't put your best player out wide in a game like this, Sturridge can go wide, not fluid enough up front. Team unsurprisingly looks worse without Henderson who makes the system work with his hard work, Allen simply isn't good enough, too immobile.

Ah well, at least we threw away a cup game. Annoying that we missed a wide open opportunity. Let them back in the game from nothing and an unfortunate penalty decision. We lacked intensity in the 2nd half though

Re: The FA Cup
We could end up with a Merseyside derby (if Liverpool turn it round), Sheffield derby, last season's cup final and Poyet going back to his old place. Or Bruce going back to Sunderland, loosely interesting.
Gonna have Sunderland at Wembley two times at least and one of the awful Sheffield clubs there (pray for Wednesday not the Blunts [the Bl is pronounced like a C])
