Re: does any body remember....
I actually thought Escobar could have done something in WWE, he was kept in development for 4 years so they obviously felt there was something there else he'd have been released much earlier.
He put on some really decent shows in FCW with the likes of Barrett, Sheamus and McIntyre and was actually champion while these guys were about so they must have rated him.

Re: does any body remember....
Maccs he was highly rated in OVW/FCW and was apart of a very entertaining tag team, the talk was he was going to come up to the roster and be a bodygaurd for Carlito and Primo and help them retain the titles before he would slowly be moved into singles competition, for some reason though they killed the team and then threw Escobar in with Vickie

Escobar is brilliant, however he lost all credibility after his first few matches

Thats more to do with the roadies than him though to be fair, I'm still struggling to see why they bothered when they refused to give him anytime what so ever

Wondered how long it would be before you popped up with a remark, how are you my old friend.
For someone who claimed a while back on the old 606 that you hated everything todays wrestling has to offer and called everyone sheep (including most of the guys that have come over that you pander to now), you have put an awful lot of threads on todays wrestling up.

Joke pal... we've buried the hatchet remember! Good to see you back
Yeah I lost my enthusiasm for Wrestling a bit ago but through my girlfriends younger brother i've found myself following it again... The product is still poor not a patch on the 80 or 90's but we all live in hope.. Most of my posts are nostalgia based not many about current product

Re: does any body remember....
Ok my bad for getting defensive, its difficult to tell over the net sometimes.
Maybe im going through the phase you were at not really feeling it at the moment, barely keep up with results let alone watch it but still like to stay up for the buzz of ppv's.
There's a wrestling event in my town at the end of may with guys such as X-Pac road dogg Billy Gunn Al snow and kid Kash which hopefully will ignite my interest again. before hand you can meet them in the town centre and get autographs

Its happen to all of us... Some ride it out some stop watching for years. I tend to think of it as even though the product is poor theres still so may fascinating facets to Wrestling such as the crazy personalities involved to the inner workings & backstage politics

Must admit I always will like the backstage storys and goings on, I even buy the books of wrestlers not because i want to find out about that wrestler so much but to find out storys and their interaction with other wrestlers that we all know.
