Wrestling Games
Outside of all these Royal Rumble predictions and HoF rumours I was hoping to throw out the quick question of what's the latest WWE video game you've bought and how would you rate it. I get paid this week and figured its eventually time to treat myself, and am unsure whether it's worth paying the extra money for the '14 or just save cash and get it's predecessor

If you have watched wrestling for the last 25 years or so I would highly recommend '14.

If only i could afford to get the up coming consoles and all that jazz, unfortunately strapped for cash and this is my one off treat for the next few months. Does anyone know if there's a significant difference in playing quality between '13 and 2k14?

No there isn't, 2k14 just has a better roster including more legends and The Shield. I'd say their story modes are about even, 13 is the Attitude Era so you play matches that happened then, 2k14 is Wrestlemania where you play a few big matches from each Wrestlemania. If you want more old school guys, 2k14 is the place to go, more Attitude Era guys then 13 is.
In terms of gameplay they are almost identical, 2k14 is marginally smoother but you wouldn't be able to tell if you hadn't played 13.
