Groves Tweets Victory in IBF Rematch Hunt
First topic message reminder :
Groves has tweeted that the IBF have mandated an immediate rematch. How will it go down if Froch refuses the fight now? Hearn must be happy, too. He wants the rematch and this may force it without him having to really push Froch.

Fair points and if froch was to win this would be where he would boss it.hampo171 wrote:Degale doesn't have the power to get Frochs respect Tunes, Froch would walk through the punches to land his own shots, and I genuinely believe most fighters at the next level up will.
That being said I do not think Degale is exactly feather fisted, those that have tried to walk him down have been stopped or floored, again apart from the Mohoumadi (Degales poorest showing)
I don't think Dirrell has any more power and he gave Froch a very close fight in Nottingham.
Degale has also fought some durable fighters who have proven to be tough, not as good as Froch no but still people who can take a punch. I think Groves would maybe have stopped them but Groves does have allot of power in that right, at least for the first 6 rounds he has.
I think Degale does not have a concussive punch but enough not to tickle...
If I was to predict I think if Degale is on his game and focused he would win a close fight with Degale nicking rounds, and having to hold on at the end. That being said, looking at the score cards in the Froch and Groves fight, maybe he would need the KO which I could not see happening.

Re: Groves Tweets Victory in IBF Rematch Hunt
Groves has come on further since the first match and will win by a clear decision or late stoppage, his skills, work rate and sheer confidence now in his power will be too much for Degale. I have a bit more time for Degale now though for the respect he gave Groves when discussing the Froch v Groves match and its ending instead of trying to score cheap points on Groves he shares the same opinion as the 98% of people that post on here. I would like to see both of them pick up a belt and then fight in a unification fight in a year or 2 when Degale has moved up to a level with Groves then we would get a proper fight.
