Why o why would they sack him? Who are they going to get in better?

He is back. Doesnt bode well for the takeover if this is what the potential new owners have caused before they have even purchased the club!!

Seems it was a lawyer / agent acting on behalf of the would-be new chairman, Massimo Cellino, who called McDermott to tell him he was sacked...without the knowledge of the Leeds board.

The director Salem Patel only found out about it from Twitter. He then called the chairman to find out what was going on, then called Brian to tell him that nothing had been authorised by them.

As Shot 21 said, it could prove to be a temporary reprieve, if Cellino does complete the takeover deal.

Even so, the bloke strikes me as a complete ass - trying to get someone sacked before he even owns the club.

Leeds are a mess. Really hope they have another laughable season again next year.
