Kelly Brown - No 6 bus out of there.....
First topic message reminder :
How do we turn this around?
How do we make Scotland a competitive nations?
How do we stop being a laughing stock?
One suggestion would be to play players in the right position - I know it is something that I have shouted for years, but when we we learn???
Kelly Brown is a 6 - he is not a 7 and not an 8 (unless forced there through injury)
Ross Ford is a kit bag - big and takes up space, but nor great at hooking the darn ball throwing - he is not a hooker
Hamilton is an iceberg - slow moving, not very nimble and creeps forward - he is not a international class send row
3 changes that I would make

"John Barclay falls into a similar category to Brown and Roddy Grant in that Johnson feels he knows what they can bring, which is why he has opted for Fusaro this week – to find out about the Fife talent under Test pressures"
This is the only positive I can get from that ramble - hopfully it is true and Barclay has proven himself and we are blooding new players - which is a good thing
Just don't trust him...

Kind of looks like it Checks doesn't it ? Chris Fusaro is a great wee, tough, hard as feck 7 who will plunder and plunder. Packs a mean punch too and is not afraid to take on bigger guys. But why drop your captain and probably most consistent forward and scapegoat him (and R Gray and MacArthur) for the shambles in Dublin when the worst 2 culprits were Ford and Hamilton - and they retain their places. He could have put KB to 6, Wilson to 8 and Fusaro 7. Balanced tough as teak back row who would not take a backward step - esp with Beattie on the bench. No not for the Antipodean Ershole and his forwards coach Humpty Numpty. Borders on the criminal tbh. Very depressing but congratulations on retaining the Calcutta Cup.
