Shakhtar's Fernando at DM and Wallace of Inter/Chelsea at RB are my best signings I feel, missed out on Piazon and Dede.

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
I imagine that his price may rise a bit Fan as he is on his way to Chelsea next season. As a Chelsea fan I am excited about him. I see him as the long term replacement for John Terry and I think that is what Jose Mourinho is aiming for.
I'm excited about your team Fan, I didn't think of going for Thorgan Hazard and I wish that I did too.

Fan - you appear to be building a team that will be competitive in the old Euro Division (with Lucarelli, Cassano and Gargano) or the next version? I can't help feel there is too much of the next big thing and not enough of the current big thing.

Not full albums no, but I know their singles and I know a friend of mine with good taste (but sometimes weird taste) loved their first album.
Their new single is a belter though.

I hope everyone remembered there's a total limit of 10, if you got 6 first time you can only bid on 4 second time, etc.

I always try to get a good balance. It is more difficult in this league as the current school are normally more expensive and outside the TP limits, and it is the old school and new school that are affordable/available.
If you play that formation, most is alright, but I would worry about the back three. To play a back 3, all three have to be mobile. Lucarelli isn't really.
Zouma would be brilliant in it, but I still think he would need a more experienced head in there. And that is the challenge - a mobile and experienced CB, within budget

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
Fan paid 17m for Zouma what was the second highest bid? I like him a very good physical defender who'll suit the English league but he does lack the technical ability at the moment which I'm sure he'll pick up soon.
Re: N.E.D. Social Area
I just edited my bids slightly, i hope that is okay? I just added a player to my second round of bids to round off the cost and I also added my Star Player bid to the message too as i didn't realise that was due at the same time.

I think you get marked down for JUST playing youngsters.
Players like Berardi are doing well, but need to prove it longer to get the same ratings as a more established name in these games. They need to nprove they are more a Ronaldo than a Nani or a Macheda

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
But as I said, getting the balance is difficult because the more established players are out of reach.
That is probably one of the positives of going for a more expensive team in the Team draft

At the moment I don't have a data package on my phone as it is paid for by work and they won't pay for me to stream music, selfish buggers.
Therefore, Spotify doesn't help as I can't use it on the go, I don't think?

Problem with being Ajax is that they themselves have only 1 player over the age of 27, they've always been about youth so to then bring in a load of older heads goes against the Ajax way.

You can Afro i think.
What i do is Synchronise it by making a playlist and making it available offline and it then allows me to listen to them offline which doesn't require a connection. I'm pretty sure you will need a connection to be able to Synchronise them though.

You can.
It's £10 a month for premium, and you can download playlists (either albums or more 'traditional' playlists of songs you've cobbled together) and then listen to them anywhere without an internet connection. Like an iPod.

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
Here's a few questions for everyone:
1. Which player were you gutted to miss out on that you lost on a bid (if you did indeed lose)?
2. Which player were you most happy to get?
3. Which player that someone else got were you most jealous of?
4. Which player that someone else got had you totally forgot about and regret it?
5. Which player purchase had you scratching your head wondering why?
6. Which manager did the best from the first draft?

1) Motta and one from the second round of bids...
2) Ansaldi from the first round, and a relative unknown from the second round
3) Pirlo for £10 million, I didnt go for him because of limited budget. Turns out I probably could have!

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
1. Layvin Kurzawa, though he would slip under the radar......Tranq was on it!
2. Vincent Aboubakar, needless to say why.
3. Jorginho, Tranq cant even spell his name right & he beat me to him. Was going to build my team around him. Lucas Piazon must get a mention too, I wanted him but felt there would be a few bids so didnt bother.
4. Dimitar Berbatov, tekkers!!
5. Will Hughes & Ganso. Ones overpriced for a young second division player & the other is just...well...Ganso. Kurt Zouma, Darijo Srna & Gianluigi Buffon all deserve a mention for the mahoosive fee paid.
6. Viva, he saved £31.3m. Wenger would be proud.

2. Which player were you most happy to get? - Dede out of the confirmed draft results so far.
3. Which player that someone else got were you most jealous of? - Hero getting Thorgan Hazard was the one that i am a bit Jealous of because i am a huge fan of the Hazard brothers and i forgot that i could bid for Thorgan.

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
1. Flip of a coin on Berardi or Zouma, probably Zouma of the two if I was pushed though as I've got ample players in Berardi's position.
2. Hazard, looks to be a possible Worldie like his brother.
3. Pirlo, he's the perenial Worldie but he wasn't in the Ajax kindergarten mold.
4. Rabiot, I have him in another team and can't think why I overlooked him
5. Ganso, not aware on how's he doing currently so he may be back to his '2nd best behind Neymar' form but his stock needs a big rebranding exercise.
6. Tranq looks to have a good set in early and sneaked under the radar but there's some quality there.

Oh, in that case...
1. Which player were you gutted to miss out on that you lost on a bid (if you did indeed lose)?
Probably Barzagli. With all my younger defenders, he would have been the experienced head I could have used.
2. Which player were you most happy to get?
Probably Jetro Willems at the moment, although there are a couple in my second draft that I would be more happy to get .... or gutted to lose
3. Which player that someone else got were you most jealous of?
Probably Christante. He is the next Italian superstar and is probably the best young player signed.
4. Which player that someone else got had you totally forgot about and regret it?
Aboubakker. He's banging them in and I think he was probably under a lot of people's radar. Also Kurzawa.
5. Which player purchase had you scratching your head wondering why?
£7m for Will Hughes was puzzling. Plus I don't really understand why so many people paid such inflated prices for young players with a lot to still prove. £17m for Zouma and £12m for Berardi are both mad. Neither are worth anywhere near that yet
6. Which manager did the best from the first draft?
For me, Tranquil Chaos, by some margin too
