Re: Bath
Can't lose Simpson, Attwood or any of my starters for him - he's a good player but not as much potential as Heathcoate who I think you've let go for £1.5m. With Donald coming to Bath he's going to find it ahrd to get a bench spot.
Could do Geraghty plus £10m & Mason?

Re: Bath
Wait to see the highlights of today's game - think Heathcoate is the best player in Bath's academy by a long shot. You might want to get Olly Woodburn into your academy pronto - he's a real prospect and plays wing. You've also got a very good lock called Will Spencer - he's better than any of your other forwards you have. There;s another no9 who looks good called Ceyte or Keyte (something like that) - meant to be very highly thought of.
Ben Williams is a good player, I like him but you;ve got 4 players in your team who are better than him and in real life he's going to be playing reserve team rugby for the foreseeable future - Hipkiss, Banahan, Donald, Barkley, Vesty and Carraro all ahead of him...up to you, thought the above deal was pretty good when you take all that into account.

Re: Bath
Completely up to you - he's going to take 2-3 years before he's a first team player at Bath - they pay Hipkiss, Banahan and Barkley too much money to let him play first team.
Am happy with my centres, just like Williams as did some legal work for him at my old law firm - we were Bath's legal team

Re: Bath
All mine are pretty much in the England squad, whilst Williams is 5th choice centre at Bath. At the end of the day its up to you, but players I've listed could improve your squad, whilst you are already strong in the centre area.
Could always do a deal when I loan you Williams back for the season too.

Would do Jack Wallace, Sam Harrison and one of the players I listed above for Williams - that way I lose two very good youngsters and a top level player.

Re: Bath
Julian Savea and Jack Wallace then - Jack Wallace is a very good player at Wasps, Savea world junior player of the year a season ago. Sam Harrison is playing more for Tigers and I think I bought him off you for £11m a season or so ago, so obviously he's a good player too.
I don't think I could go above that - three good youngsters, who I believe have all played more first team matches than Williams.

Up to you mate - quite happy to keep hold of Savea, they'll develop him along nicely.
Could do Harrison, Wallace, Lualala and Kalamafoni (no8 for Tonga who smashed France to pieces) for him, or something like that.

Re: Bath
I wont bother, have offered as much as I can do for a player who is 4/5th choice for his club and whose game time is going to be limited behind Donald, Barkley, Hipkiss, Banahana and Carraro.
He's a good player but I'm not going to lose any of the players that are eitther in the England squad or will be come 6 Nations.
I've offered as fair as I could do, good young players and internationals, can't do any more than that.-

I'd be happy to offer similar england players of the level that Pooly is offering for Williams. THe English guys you asked for were way ahead of Pooly's so give me some names that are a bit closer and I will see what I can do.

If you want a straight swap then I would potentially do Jackson Wray - he's started every game for Sarries this season, better than Gray too.

Funny how Wray is better than Gray yet Gray started ahead of him for England U20 and was also captain of the side. Can't just make stuff up Chris

Wray was to old for the Under 20's last season year, was born in 1990.

Re: Bath
Pooly and just how many games has Wray played for Sarries this season? And just how much better has he developed than Gray over the last 12 months...
I'm probably going to cancel that deal proposal as Wray's a great player and is in an area where England lack any prospects - he's way ahead of Gray at the moment, Gray isnt a first team started.

Re: Bath
Chris, Wray is not way ahead of Gray, there is nothing between the pair of them. Both have started games recently for the club, the only difference is that now all of the World Cup players are back, Wray will face a stiffer challenge for a shirt, which may be the making of him as he will have to raise his game to get in. On the other hand, Gray will be likely to get more gametime, which may well aid his development more. Either one could go on to be a long term option at 8 for England.

Re: Bath
As Steve said, Wray is older so should be further ahead. Gray IS starting for Irish and U20 England captain.
Welch (England U20 flanker & starts for Falcons) is also added to the deal so not seeing your point.
I'll get back to you later on deal Fastlane
Thanks Pete

Re: Bath
I put Wray quite a bit ahead at the moment because Gray hasnt got the build yet to be a top class backrow player, he's quite small skinny, whilst Wray is more of backrow build. I trained Wray at my old club and he's a very, very good player. THink Gray has got just as much potential its just that I think Wray's at the better club to bring through backrow talent.
Sarries seem to have a bit of a bad rep for all the South Africans they have, but they are bringing through a load of great English players - really regret selling Farrell to you now Pete - he's going to be pushing Flood soon enough!

Re: Bath
I may be biased, but London Irish are every bit as good as Saracens in bringing talent through from the academy. Gray, actually reminds me of a young Lawrence Dallaglio in terms of build and playing style. If he goes on to fill out and achieve half of what Dayglo did, then he'll have had a very good career.

Re: Bath
How are Sarries better at bringing on talent than Irish?
Hasn't worked for Saull who's never kicked on. Gray is taller than Wray who is quite short for an 8 so I'd expect him to be rangier.
I thought you'd put Wray ahead of Gray as he's your player, I wouldn't.

Re: Bath
I think Irish are very good at bringing through backs, but not so sure about the forwards - Sarries spend so much on their academy its untrue, they are trying to get all the best coaches and facilities - your going to have a load of top players come through for you Pete!
Saints probably have the best academy for forwards at the moment, you getting Waller was a shrewd move (again!) - he's very good but wait til you see Haywood player a few more games at hooker.
