Re: Bath
Could possibly do:
Welch + Shiells for Williams?
Both top young prospects and regulars for Falcons. Shiells alone looks a huge prospect at LH, watch the game the other night, he hammers Hayman all night (although Hayman is half the player he once was) its some achievement for a young lad.

It's more than I wanted to do tbh but seen its positions your after and I'm short in midfield. Probably work out well for us both

Re: Bath
Wades top scorer in AP, one of most exciting prospects in Wngland. Starts for Wasps and the two aren't comparable at the moment. I'd want a top, top player for Wade.
Would give you Lamont plus Jack Wallace who has played more AP games than Williams - came through same youth ranks as Wade and covers all 3 back three positions.
Is a massive gamble on my part

Re: Bath
Anything for one of Whitelock or Simmons? Could give Thion + ?
Gives you and enforcer who won't be in international games.

Re: Bath
Well for Simmons I would suggest something like
Donnelly + Seymour for Simmons + Woodburn
I get a gain on the locks but you get the gain with the EQ players.

Good player and makes you look a better team. Scrummages not to badly which is an achievement for an aussie. His loose work is top drawer

Re: Bath
you want to put that quote on your tactics lol.
think you've got a cracking backrow that will do a lot of carrying and I was worried about playing you in normal conditions as thought you'd sneak a win. With the heavy rain I think my 10-12 have a better kicking game, and a few more wet weather players.
never know in this game as I'm struggling to pick up wins home and away!

Re: Bath
Its going to be tough that's for sure - I am just hoping people have seen that Hartley's throwing and form has been awesome recently and that Lawes and Davies are both playing well.
I saw how good your front row is too - so made sure that I brought on Mullan and Hayman very early in the second half to try and counter that! Also had Albacete, Clark and Messam to come on as see your forwards as v strong.

Re: Bath
Would agree with Hayman but Lawes and Hartley are definitely on top form - Lawes has been nearly at his best in recent weeks and Hartley is best English hooker by some distance right now.
Bodes v well for England's 6Nations campaign!
Out of interest what stopepd you starting Armitage in your backrow?

Re: Bath
Ah, didnt know you had him injured - good player to have as like you say it lets you play FDP from the start that way!
There are two young hookers coming through that have impressed my, Mikey Haywood at Saints looks top rate, only problem he has atm is his throwing if he sorts that out then he will play for England and the other is a young Sarries hooker (name escapes me), but he played in the Help for Heroes game and scored a 50metre try!!! He's very similar to Brits.

Re: Bath
Wouldnt say he's close to WC atm, but then what hookers actually are at the moment - don't think there are any at the moment that you could say has a world class game all round now.
The thing I really like about Hartley is that he has a great ability of winding up the opposition and when backs are against the wall he really does stand up. His lineout throwing is very good, but needs more work in the scrum and would like to see him carry the ball a bit more.
Just wish there were some no8s coming through - think that is an area where we struggle.

Good offer mate, but I'm not after Lydiate.
Is there any chance you could add in O'Brien instead of Lydiate, if I added in Mike Blair?
