New 'Celto/Itallian' league sponsor ?
First topic message reminder :
Ok, as we all know, no matter who plays in it next season, Rabbo will no longer be sponsoring the league.
Who would fans like to see sponsoring it - maybe from a financial/exposure view point and purely just the name ?
Someone 'alcoholic' would be nice
*edit*
The sponsor should be an alcohol company - I'm not suggesting Charvis or Care have the finances to sponsor an entire rugby league

I'm hoping it will be an amusing sponsor like Tampax, Netta, Viagra or McSween's Haggis.

The Tampax Bay Buccaneer12. A little glitzy glossy perhaps but workable.

Like the innuendo.

I think a more suitable sponsor though would be home bargains, poundstretcher or bargain booze.

So Sponsor's names on the fringes but the competition to stay simply as Pro12.... like Top14 and Super 15.
Will it be 12 teams though ?
In all seriousness it does look increasingly likely that yes, it will and the status quo will continue.

Well...part of the league might be called some of those things - yes. Maybe that's the best way to go. The top, middle and bottom of the League take care of their own League sponsorship
Guinness PRO12 for the top four.
Home Bargains (is that really a company??..imaginative guys, if so ) Home Bargains PRO12 for the middle four
and Ferrari PRO12 for the bottom four.

Been tried already Peter.
But Behan Tractors , just off the Naas dual carriagegway, got a stinkin' legal letter from a big British broadcaster telling them that if they went ahead and sponsored the Pro12 using those initials, they'd pay a heavy price indeed as BT have to recoup a lot of money from their "For Free" service now that the "For Free" bit won't be as extensive as first planned.

Sounds divine!!!
Now if the RCC and WRU could get into the same room and sign the one piece of paper agreeing to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.... offering each other the same pen to write with, sitting close enough to each other that the pen could be passed along .....we'd be off and running.

You mean the One World Alliance, the airline alliance led by British Airways and American Airlines? That would be a great idea and would get the league some real big time exposure. I wonder..........SecretFly wrote:It's One World out there, quins. Isn't that the moderm logo?
Etihad sponsor GAA events. Very few Arabs would be on the Kilkenny Hurling team

No the English Premiership have a prior agreement of first refusal rights with McDonalds. They're quite interested in the possibilities of a Beef'n'NonDeclaredFillers League

Ah, you are right. The Premiership can be the McDonald's League and the Celtic League can be the Burger King Cheeseburger League.SecretFly wrote:doctor_grey wrote:Or maybe it should be McDonald's?
