Worst Post of Season
Having been reading some old topics here, I've came accross some bad ' ' posts. I thought I'd start a topic to see what my fellw forum members can find.
The worst one I've came accross so far is this
Funny ones are also welcome.

lfc91 wrote:Been saying all season that Rodgers needs sacked and today has just further proved that. Never has a plan B when plan A isnt working, manages a draw against a 10 man newcastle who were out playing us up until they lost a man! The wheels will come of shortly and we will fall away to 7th/8th place come may. Why wait until then to sack him, sooner the better in my view.

There were some classic's to do with Fellaini pre-season about how he will be sensational for United, Mike Dean reffing at Arsenal produced some #headsgone & of course my Giroud comments throughout the season & then him scoring @ St James' Park in a 1-0 win.

Can't remember if it was on here or the original 606 but someone put up a thread "10 reasons why Rory Delap should play for England"

In fairness to Crimey, that is still fair comment. IMO, Arsenal will finish 4th, and it might have been 5th had Man U got their act together.

Think i said Burnley would be lucky to stay in the Championship. Tbf i don't think a single person in the world could of thought, Sam Vokes would be bossing the Championship. Before this season, he was terrible for whoever he played for!!!

Him and Ings both played for Bournemouth, think they were there at the same time.
If so, shame they could'nt bang the goals in they are now.

I said, i don't know where the goals are going to come from at City and people poo pooed me. There's too much tippy tap football. Silva is not a scorer, navas doesnt score, fernandinho and yaya are hardly prolific. if the striker is not on form or doesnt get the service, city struggle and that was the first half. jovetic will be found out too when he plays, plays on the left and then cuts in on his right every time. can see alot of struggling to break down teams from city this season and the bench saving them with a bit of variety.

Classic post. To be fair, Silva is still not a goal scorer & I knew Navas was average from Spain, in terms of goals. Fernandinho doesn't score either.
I said, if the strikers aren't on form then they would struggle, luckily Aguero was in sensational form & then Negredo went crazy for about two months in his first season, which let's face it, was unexpected. Without those two, City would of been in trouble. Still not convinced by Jovetic, although he's been injured.
Good topic this one, enjoying people's moments from earlier on in the season.

Was the same with KK we should have won when we lost etc, and now rodgers follows the same suit in post match interviews. Yes were top which is fantastic but we have been very VERY lucky thus far and that luck wont continue. Villa match, stoke match are 2 off the top of my head where we were lucky to escape with the points, beaten easily at home to southampton and now this poor performance against 10 men?
I fully understand that people think you have to be able to win when your playing bad which we have at times this season but as i say that luck wont continue. Couple that with are apparent inability to play for a full 90 minutes does not bode well.
And where to begin with his transfers?! Think allen sums it up perfectly, not only did his major buy flop, but BR shows a complete refusal to accept his mistake in sgning him and keeps playing him! Was actually happy to see him sidelined for a while such were his performances! Like i said the wheels are set to come off soon and **BR will show just how out off his depth he truely is. Would genuinely love to be proved wrong i should add, but there you go thats my opinion on the matter

The sad thing is there are plenty more of those posts to find.. Was very anti-rodgers up until mid december, thats when he started to win me over! Although still stand by most of that post, we were indeed very lucky in many of our early season games!

Can't find the post but Azzy predicted that Anelka would score 15+ plus goals for Albion this season. I was a bit more pessimistic with 8, turns out the closest he'll get to 8 is if his ban is that long!
Re: Worst Post of Season
I had an argument with him about that, I remember, he got so stroppy claiming Anelka would be your season and that Lukaku wouldnt be missed

A few years ago someone started a thread asking who was better, Andy Carroll or Daniel Sturridge. I replied with something along the lines of 'this is a stupid question'. Turns out it was a daft question, but for the complete opposite reason I implied at that time.

I think I said something along the lines of Benteke getting 20-25 goals this season.
Hmm.
To be fair I did think he would kick on from last season.
Again................................. hmm.
Cant believe how bad he has been at times this season.

I'd rather play against Sturridge than Carroll. Reckon he'd be a nightmare to mark.

I used to be the most optimistic of liverpool fans, but these last 3 or 4 seasons have just knocked that right out of me. Yes 5 or 6 would almost certainly guarantee 4th, because the teams below us arent exactly likely to win 9 or 10 of the last 11.

well, this is embarrassing....
1) Swansea will finish 5th and play in europe again next season
2) Norwich will finish in the top 10
3) Bale will still be at spurs in may
4) Soldado will be top scorer
5) Chelsea and Man city will finish 1 & 2, and will be the only challengers come april
6) Liverpool will once again fail but finish above everton
7) Gary Hooper will win his first England cap
8) Arsenal will finish 6th and spurs will be top 4
9) David Moyes will win a trophy
10) Arsene Wenger will cry during an interview and quit

That wouldn't provide `worst posts`, that would just provide posts of an accurate analysis or evaluation of a woefully bad french player, who`s failure to score against any top team, eventually cost Arsenal a possible title.

No way.
