Never has a plan B when plan A isnt working, manages a draw against a 10 man newcastle who were out playing us up until they lost a man! The wheels will come of shortly and we will fall away to 7th/8th place come may. Why wait until then to sack him, sooner the better in my view.

Top scorer: Robin Van Persie
Player of the year: Juan Mata
Young player of the year: Coutinho
Best signing: Gary Hooper
Worst signing: Negredo
First manager sacked: Ian Holloway
RVP has disappointed this year with injures taking a toll.
Not sure anybody could have predicted Mata's year.
Coutinho is definitely within a shout of this, although I think Hazard has been much better.
Both my signings predictions were awful. Hooper has been quite poor, Negredo has been very good.
Think Holloway was the first manager to leave?

Weird, I thought I'd picked Phil Jones. Wrong on both counts anyway! RVP mangled year plus the Suarez situation played a part.
Happy otherwise, Big AC being a bias choice and a month before the window ended and he got injured further!
Hard to know on Taarabt. He was crap for Fulham but he now plays for AC Milan.

At the start of the season, I was rather optimistic that Portsmouth would be promoted.

As a saints fan I can't wait for you to get your club stabilised and back into the top flight (assuming we stay there) - derbies help make a season complete, there is a lot of fun to be had with a bit of light-hearted banter with bragging rights for a few months
No one apart from ned-heads (and which club doesn't have those) want to see a rival club go out of business, it's not your fault that a bunch of idiots ruined your club trying to make money from you
The FA really need to tighten up the rules - another club who flirted with disaster, Leeds, have a convicted tax avoider trying to buy the club and the current rules may not block this (Although due to the quirks in the Italian legal system not finalised yet)
