Also how many of those home games were wins? Spurs? I'd rather lose one game and win the rest than draw a lot and have an "unbeaten" record (they're very overrated we have an unbeaten home record in 2014 but like 4 of the 6 are draws so were actually jot doingn that great)
beat Tottenham at home and we beat LOSERPOOL at home twice. drew with city, united and chelsea at home.
And how many points did you get for the second win? Completely null and void point there.
Even in 3 games Loserpool beat you on aggregate. See what I did there?

The same 'Loserpool' who could go top of the table tomorrow and 7 points clear of Arsenal.
European Cups
Liverpool- 5
Man United- 3
Notts Forest- 2
Aston Villa- 1
Chelsea- 1
Celtic- 1
Haven't Arsenal lost to all of City, United, Liverpool and Chelsea away, conceding 18 goals in the process.

Come on CS, take it on the chin. Like the Man Utd fans have, just not good enough this term. At least the Gunners should get CL football later in the summer.

That is actually a very good question, what is better finishing 2nd or 3rd and winning nothing or finishing 4th and winning the fa cup?

For the club, finishing 2nd or 3rd & the prize money from the position & not having to come back in August for a UCL qualifier after a WC.
For the fans, finishing fourth & winning F.A Cup

tbh i think even for the club they would rather a cup and 4th. it has got to the point where they need something.
yes the pre qualification 2 games is annoying- but it is still a guaranteed win for a PL team

Gotta say I personally have "Loserpool" as favourites for the title, and have backed them to do so...
And Arsenal actually have to win the FA Cup which as shown before is easier said than done with them

We are currently in the title race, you are not. Tomorrow we have a chance to go top of the league with the other two teams in the race to visit Anfield, are you saying you'd prefer to scrapping it out for fourth than have the opportunity we are currently presented with? The modern football fan, happy with not winning anything for nearly a decade as long as they get to play with the big boys

I actually think that we'll never have a better chance than this season to do so. I'm wondering if we've progressed too fast, if that makes sense?

I still dont believe palace will stay up - which is sad because i think we have put our self in a position were all we need to do is play the same and we will. I just cant believe it until it happens.
That whole extra minute for cardiff to equalize did kind of crack me up. Been talked about loads - yet when newcastle got there extra minute and scored no one spoke about it.

Right now i'd rather be Liverpool, the chance of premier league glory is far more appealing than the chance of FA cup glory. CS and Socal can write off Liverpool all they want but going top with six games to go would be massive.

So we have wenger the specialist in failure, we have looserpool, we have mourinho saying he doesnt even want to win the PL this year . that leaves citeh..
well I hope its looserpool anyway!
Or is there any possibility palace can be given 40 bonus points for being so awesome?

Relegation fight is still fascinating. I wish the TV lot focused on the relegation battle more. I dont seem to fancy any team to definitely go down but Fulham, and they could jump to 18th if they beat Everton (not that I think they will).
Next week we've got Hull v Swansea, Cardiff v Palace and Norwich v West Brom.
I don't expect West Ham to get any points in the next 3 games (Sunderland away, Liverpool home and Arsenal away) until what could be a safety clincher for either West Ham or Palace at The Boleyn, in an atmosphere that could be toxic for our own side by then.

An Italian woman bumps into Chelsea football team at a nightclub.
She goes up to John Terry and asks him to sign her left breast. She lifts up her top and he signs.
She then asks Lampard to sign the right breast. She lifts up her top and he signs it.
She then goes up and asks Mourinho to sign her front bottom. Jose says, "Okay," and she pulls down her knickers at which point he says, "Actually, on second thoughts, I think I'll pass. The last time I signed a cu*t it cost me £30 million."
Very apt

Dunno Mysti. Any side outside of the top 8 shouldn't expect anything from any away games to be fair.
Cardiff away is a tough ask regarding of their position in the table.

Freek under pulis we havent lost a game v a bottom half team. and won the majjority, drawing a few
the problem is we have only picked up 4 pts v top half teams.
palace home or away are the same side. there is nothing in it for us. Thanks alot to pulis and our hardcore support away.
The problem is the quality to beat the top sides- they usually eventually break us down. but no bottom half side has. Not one under pulis. And i certainly dont expect cardiff to beat us- Unless zaha comes alive against players that truly know how good he is and get scared. And he of course knows what our individuals are or not capable of

I don't think that's right tbh Freeky, if you're not going to the newly promoted sides, the Norwich's, WBA's of this world expecting something then what's the point. Gotta expect you can compete at these places easily

Yeah but competing and expecting points are 2 different things. If you take a point or 3 then great but expecting to get something can lead to disappointment more often than not, surely?
For me the home games are where you make your bread. Anything away is a bonus.

Its just not really been that way for palace under pulis though.
we have got points in every game v bottom half opposition home and away - yet only taken points from 2 teams home and away from teams in the top half.
Not all teams have a fortress and expects. Its about the current situation and form of your team
