Newcastle have been on a bad run but 6 points from their last 6 games isn't that bad for a team with nothing to play for.

Those 6 points were a 90th minute Remy winner vs Villa & a 94th minute header by Cisse
Just make sure Stoke are in your accumulators tomorrow. I hope Norwich win tomorrow for Olly, bored of Fulham just barely surviving each year & showing no progression. Cardiff, Fulham & Sunderland all to go hopefully.

I too want Fulham to go to, has the potential to be a great away game for next season!
Cardiff are done. Sunderland i would love to come down, for obvious reasons.
Everyone else has done enough i think. Norwich and West Brom both need 1 more win.

I actually have newcastle in my accy.
I just can't see how you can keep up this bad form.
I have an affiliation with pardew. My mum and sister know him and obviously he is a palace legend . the guy has to sort your team out at some point. It doesn't matter that you are safe at the moment. He is fighting for his job.

John's a pessimist, but I still agree with his sentiments. No excuses for players just settling for what they have. If anything, this run of form has cost them the chance of playing with Remy again next year and it won't be easy picking up a striker of his quality. A club that should have felt like it was managing stability and progression is suddenly feeling the need for an overhaul.

I think he is right, it must be frustrating to see the club field weakened sides in the cups to focus on the league - only to put no effort into it for half a season.

I hope Fulham stay up.
Great away day, some good pubs.
Best time start or end of season.
If Norwich were to go down, then they can take Lambert back with them.
Saying all that, think we will be ok.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
I just did a predictor and Villa got 40 points. Even when I changed all their results to defeats they still didnt go down.
Did leave me with a bottom three of:
18th Sunderland
19th Norwich
20th Cardiff
And that was with a draw today between Fulham and Nodge and the Nodge getting a point against Arsenal. Generous predictions for Sunderland who are a shocking side. Think Palace, WBA and Fulham all stay up by a point or so, Palace's goal difference meaning even with a poor run to the end of the season (which I'm not confident they'll have) they still cant go down cos of their goal difference.

Reckon Norwich will get the draw and be safe.
Still would be very interesting if Fulham won.

Its an away game. Norwich (without checking) is probably the worst away from home- however they are playing against the worst team in the league and under a freer reign or at the best/worst a different way under the temp manager.
I am going for the norwich win.
taking home and away out of the equation, taking tactics out of the equation - just on paper- Norwich are better.

OK Nodge bets for today are
1-1 final score, a draw (obviously), Fulham winning at half time, and a penalty awarded in the game

Looks like a 4-3-3/4-5-1 to me, which is what we were playing earlier in the season when we were performing well (well better).
