Can we leave power 5 until after Aftermath? Just really think what happens in the show will affect my choices, especially my current 1, 2 and 3

I really do think now reading the last few shows back that Jones is going to screw Enforcer and choose the new 6CW World Champion Max Adamson, to take his place in the Authority.

Or

Enforcer has his celebration and Jones announces Adamson is going to join the Authority, hence at last getting his two world champions. However, there will be tension at the end......maybe even a stare down between Max and Enforcer. The new arrival could backfire for Jones, especially as Max eliminated Enforcer at GtG.

There are a lot of possibilities for the way many of the storylines could turn out right now. Me and Paul have changed our minds on quite a few things over the last few weeks.

As for the QOTD; I think there a few different ingredients to making a "great" show.

The main one being that there has to be compelling storylines, throughout the entire roster. I hate it in real-life and e-fedding when everything is concentrated on the guys at the top of the card and everyone else is left swimming in the abyss. Sometimes it is necessary to have filler feuds and matches but if you are trying to tell a story then you need to make sure it makes sense and keeps everyone involved.

The guys in the main event deserve great stories but so does everyone else and I think that is so important. I want the UK Title scene to be as interesting as the world title scene, I want every ongoing feud to draw attention.

I write the bulk of matches for the shows and whilst I think the matches need to be good, I have started to develop the idea that storytelling matters more. Especially on a weekly show, you need to get a point across instead of pages of writing. WWE doesn't have 4-5 matches that are 20 mins plus each week so we shouldn't either.

PPV's are different and I think we are starting to really get our balance right. I think PPV matches need to be detailed and also tell crucial parts of the story at the same time.

I judge PPV's on how good their matches are and that they either give a satisfying ending to the feuds involved or else leave ongoing rivalries wide open with still so much to answer.

Weekly shows is much more down to storytelling and development.

I agree with JJ and like the fact that the shows recently have been more geared towards advancing storylines than putting on epic matches.

Also like the idea of the Power 5 being voted on, I will ping mine over once Aftermath is sorted.

Sorry I have been so quiet, things have been manic in work but struggling to promo as I don't want to pre-empt the celebration at the end of Aftermath. I've no idea which way Enforcer, Jones and The Authority will go so not sure how to approach it. As I don't have an opponent I think I'm going to to skip a week and then build on the fallout from Aftermath. I fully retract the above if inspiration hits me and I do promo though!

QOTD

Who do you think the title holders will be this time next year? And who would have won GtG?

For me:

EWF World Champion - GazzyD
6CW World Champion - Vincent Costello
Hardcore Champion - Edward Plague
UK Champion - Teddy Grimstone
Tag Champions - Hobo and Enforcer

GtG winner - Joshua (what?!  Wink)

Almost entirely impossible to predict. Could be anything! I'd like to think good old Jimmy Phillips would be holding one.

If I could throw my own in...who do you think would be your character(s) most natural rival on the roster?

Some might say it was Plague in regards to Joshua.

However I think he would suit going against a whiter than white face and really get into their head with his mind games. GazzyD?

Wood's natural rival is Costello, they're polar opposites and it seems to work, it's why I'm looking forward to the feud.

Final promo up from Wood for tomorrow's show.

I'm now off for 4 days with my girlfriend so will probably have to read the show on Tuesday, will make sure to get my power 5 votes in then...good luck to everybody's characters and I hope everyone has a egg-sulant Easter.

(Paul and JJ, please do not job me for that joke...)

ps. is it bad that I now want to start a new character called the Pundertaker who's whole gimmick is based on dad jokes?

There is 4 more shows before Night of Glory yes? I think you could say Aftermath could set things up like Elimination chamber used to.

What you think gazzy about Joshua's natural opponent is an out an out face like GazzyD? I can understand Joshua and Plague feuding but I also think that there is a nice contrast between GazzyD and Joshua.

Yeah I reckon you could be on to something there. Think gazzy is an uber face and you could probably pull something akin to Bray with Cena at the minute, or back when Kane was trying to make Cena embrace hate....just mind games galore

Morning all

Told you the show was a cracker Smile

Quiet on here at the moment, I'm assuming with the Easter holidays people will take a little longer than usual to catch up with the show?

Viper to answer your question with a question - What do you see as the next level?

Over the past year you've had two title reigns and have been involved in massive feuds and story's pretty much always remaining in the Main Event scene, whatever the level up from that must be pretty amazing Smile

The next level is what I always want to aim for, I want to be the best I can and that isn't me saying that 6CW isn't giving Wood or Plague enough it's saying I always want to challenge myself and thought feedback would help.

One day I'd love to be mentioned in a list of the best that 6CW had to offer!

Had the last week off and I've watched A LOT of films (productive as always) which game me a lot of ideas....just call me the new sting, ripping off movie characters left right and centre!

Looking froward to seeing what you come up with, will do another promo for Costello later in the week addressing the UK title match.

Have some ideas for Cassidy but not sure how to get them into a promo yet...maybe need to stop watching the dark knight films and start watching some teen sit comes for ice cold inspiration!
