I've gone with Gilbert. CB is a big area of need.
I think the Lions try to trade down from here though.

Interestingly they seem to be the team most aggressively trying to move up on current buzz (always a gamble), working out Clowney and Watkins

I think they'll try to trade up for Watkins or Evans, but if they can't they should take Gilbert. None of the other receivers are worth top 10. If they want one of them they'll probably trade down with someone looking for Gilbert or Barr.

The Lions CB's actually did alright last year, but they're safeties are god awful. Clinton Dix here for me

A difficult one with a few players who the Lions could hope that fall have gone already. In my latest mock draft I have them taking Kony Ealy here but have gone for Justin Gilbert.

Safety is a far bigger need than CB for me. I also think that they would sprint to the podium if Eric Ebron was available. Golden Tate is being underrated and I don't think they will go WR unless Watkins/Evans are available.
Picked HHCD. Complete player that will make an instant impact at the next level.
I prefer Kyle Fuller and Jason Verrett over both listed CB's, FWIW (not much). Still think 10 is a bit high for either player considering the talent at other positions still on the board.

With Suh and Fairley it seems very out there

To be fair, Fairley isn't having his fifth year picked up so if it wouldn't surprise me if they went Donald because if they do intend on picking up Fairley it is an awful lot of money to spent on DTs.
Having said that, I went Clinton-Dix.

Fairley still hasn't shaken off his character problems too and Donald is a premium talent that can start from day 1 and get to the QB.

Voted for Gilbert
Can see why vote is split between CB & S they need both
