Re: N.E.D. Social Area
I have been away, just thought I'd see what was going on here out of curiosity. It's still one of the tiles on my windows phone.
Good to see the league seems to be getting back on its feet. I was planning on starting up a world cup league in the summer, have had some ideas.

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
I think the Bank Holiday is reason enough to extend the deadline. Plus as it's now Friday I suggest doing the results and penalising CF.

Tactics sent to Nando. Any clue as to what's happening with my game against Tranq? Seeing as he didn't submit tactics.

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
apolgies nando, after i sent tactics last week , i did then send votes as soon as they went up, i then deleted my inbox and sent box as i always do, i dont know why, but i do, i then havent been on to re-send apart from now, which is too late, so penalise me, it's the fair way..

Re: N.E.D. Social Area
Results
Ajax 1 - Spartak 1
Ajax 2 - Spartak 1
Ajax 1 - Spartak 0
Ajax 1 - Spartak 1
1.25 ----0.75
Ajax 1-0 Spartak
Feedback:
Felt Ajax won the all important midfield battle with Stroots and Schneiders a good combo together. Their AM of Klaasen, Hazard and Praet was too much for the Psartak defence, however the game was close
Both teams start very evenly matched but the pace of the front 4 from Ajax becomes too much for the Spartak defence and eventually Hazard slips a pass through to Batshuayi who tucks the ball away nicely.
Ajax feedback: Quality use of the front 4 players who i feel make the difference today. The pace and ability of the players will be the key for Ajax this season. I do feel that they could be caught out on the counter attack even though they have a lot of pace in the team.
Ajax Good: much stronger midfield
Ajax Bad: not convinced by the lack of experience going forward
Spartak Moscow feedback: Good setup however i do feel that Gerrard should be in the position that Rode is and controlling the game from there. I think that Spartak can cause problems for Ajax though with the mix of experience and younger players in the team.
Spartak Good: love the wingers
Spartak Bad: Fred isn't good enough. He's in the Brazil side to help Neymar, like Heskey was for Rooney for England. On his own, poor.
---------------------
Clint 0 - Santos 2 ( default win)
---------------------
Lyon 0 - Parma 0
Lyon 0 - Parma 1
Lyon 1 - Parma 1
Lyon 2 - Parma 2
0.75 ----1.00
Lyon 0-0 Parma > Lubo is deducted a goal for late tactics
Feedback:
Lyon tried to outthink Parma's formation and as a result played into their hands, if Parma had a higher grade striker then I'd have plumped for a win for them but scoring a load of goals for Leeds isn't convincing me yet.
Lyon Good: Attacking system, very bold
Lyon Bad: Too easy to get at defensively
Parma Good: Wingers are great as is the midfield.
Parma Bad: McCormick not good enough at this level.
----------------
Lazio 1-1 QPR
Lazio 2-1 QPR
Lazio 2-1 QPR
Lazio 2-0 QPR
Lazio 1-1 QPR
1.6 ----0.8
Lazio 2-0 QPR
Feedback:
QPR winning until late through sheer quality on the pitch, however their substitutes let them down and Lazio's depth won them a point
Ronaldinho creates plenty of chances early on for QPR as they have a good go at Lazio. Lazio come out in the second half and dominate the game with Cabaye assisting Defoe for 2 goals meaning quite a comfortable win in the end for Lazio.
Lazio Feedback: I feel that Cabaye feeding Defoe with chances is key to the match. Defoe is clinical and will score goals all day if given the chance which using Cabaye in this role enables this to happen. Rhodes is a good striker but i feel if there was a more experienced centre forward playing for QPR then Lazio could be punished.
Lazio Good: Good overall side
Lazio Bad: Defoe going off the radar will affect his rating
Quite Poor Results Feedback: Quality use of Ronaldinho in a playmaker role is the plus for QPR as he can create all day long. As much as i think Rhodes is a good striker i feel that he needs to be improved upon at this level.
CF is slowly getting a nice team together but at the same time really needs to up his gear in regards to tactics, it was likely Greggers was playing Defoe, yet the only defensive CB tactics were stating they'd head the ball, well no sh1t Sherlock! How though will you deal with a fast paced striker?
QPR Good: midfield pairing, signing of Toulalan.
QPR Bad: Hughes, Rhodes, SWP all making appearances. Not good enough at this level.

He's the best British striker outside the PL tho. Playing in a below average team, he's hardly a weak link imo
