A good old fashion derby game then!

Re: Benetton Treviso v Glasgow Warriors, 2 May
Treviso's penalty try should surely be canceled due to the Italian number 5 walloping Fusaro in the face in the build up?

A strike to an opponents face and you're not carded not even penalised and your team gets a penalty try?
Just checked the OP, an Italian TMO..

Still, shouldn't complain too much. Solid win for Glasgow with great tries. Potential banana skin avoided. Now to do the same again next week.
Re: Benetton Treviso v Glasgow Warriors, 2 May
Now, now lads. Job done. TBP. That guarantees us second place, no?
Am now screaming at the TV for Ulster to pony up and start scoring.

Good result, albeit a mixed performance. Seymour is on wonderful form, great finishing, and Gordon Reid is getting close to a Scotland cap.

Great result. A home semi final and 18 wins from 22 in our sights. Incredible how far this club has come in such a short period of time.
Hopefully Edinburgh do the business and help us get a home semi sewn up this weekend. Although I wonder how much the warriors marketing team would like a "decider" next weekend to help shift tickets.
Looks like Leinster v Ulster in Dublin and Glasgow v Munster, venue tbc

Re: Benetton Treviso v Glasgow Warriors, 2 May
That was a really mature performance from Glasgow, who this season, whilst not been as flamboyant as last year, really look like a team who know how to win. That was a really good team performance. Seymour will get the plaudits but everyone played well. Great defence again and the ability to make a try out of nothing is still there, even if its been reigned back a bit.
The most pleasing thing this year is how the 'squad players' of last year have risen to the challenge. Who would have imagined that we would not miss Cussack, Jon welsh will surely tour this summer and on form should start. Gordon Reid has been a revelation as well and gets better and better each game, much as Ryan Grant did last year.
You could say the same about Bennett, Seymour, Fusaro all getting better and better each game and looking like they could move up to international level. Even good old Henry, who may not be an international scrum half but at this level is a very solid player.
Whatever happens the rest of the season it has been a great squad effort and Toonie should be applauded for his policy of keeping them all interested and engaged. Great team and great coaches, it has been a pleasure supporting them this year!

Re: Benetton Treviso v Glasgow Warriors, 2 May
Sooo unfortunate Ulster couldn't get it done against the Ladyparts. Why can't they just keep 15 guys on the paddock and beat the sides that we want them to beat? That cannot be too much to ask.
So I think that makes us:
1 Leinster 21 16 1 4 539 339 12 78
2 Glasgow 21 17 0 4 430 309 6 74
3 Munster 20 15 0 5 466 308 8 68
4 Ulster 21 14 0 7 451 302 10 66
5 Ospreys 21 12 1 8 526 368 11 61
Mathematically possible for us to be top but that would mean the exfoliators would need to deny Leinster any more than a point at the RDS.
Call me Mr Magoo, but I don't think that's going to happen.

Thought not.
Guess we'll just have to carry on losing then! It will be a struggle, but I'm sure we'll manage!

Agree completely. Johnny Gray put in another monster shift as did Harley and Strauss. Its getting monotonous with these 3. Apart
from Tommy's tries - all excellent- thought Swinson was MoM.
Well done Toonie - I reckon we can do without the Muppetometer now . So does Sean Lineen !
