Why did they give this ref a semi final? He is clueless
If Glasgow lose this because of the ref then folk who are watching this for the first time won't be watching again

Playing Niko and Jackson at 9 and 10 to defend a 1 point lead is like having a 14 man lineout on your own line ...

Re: RP12 Semi-Final 1; Glasgow vs Munster, 16 May
I normally have no hesitation in saying Well done to a team which has beten the team I support.
So well done Glasgow.
However I say that through gritted teeth. This was the most unpleasant and unwelcoming thread for fans of a team (in this case Munster) I have ever experienced on this forum. The crowd in Scotstoun were not much better. Every time a penalty was fiven against Glasgow, the crowd boooed, even when it was totally justified. Absolutely disgraceful.
Before the game started I said that were they not playing against Munster I would be cheering for Glasgow. But now .... well I can't remember coming across a more unpleasant groupof fans than yours.
Goodnight and I hope you enjoy your bile and bitterness.

Cant see Leinster or Ulster stopping this lot. They just beat the meanest, nousest, beligerent, team in Europe.
Respect.
Got 17/1 on the feicers at the start. Really love that club.
Hope they win it. It would be sexy for the game.
But. Im a Leinster man.

That has to be one of the most physical games I've seen. Could probably make an entire TSRB video from those 80 minutes alone!

Pretty great advert for the league. Munster deserve a massive amount of credit too but couldn't find the balance.

Nah they could have snuck it. Just had no answer to the aggression of the Glasgow defence in the end. Keatleys missed conversion the key moment. I would have backed them to hold out if they were defending the lead

Only saw that last 20 mins and it was stressful. A lot of physical play and some serious defence from both teams.
Felt the ref had no real clue, but that tended to balance out.
You could see both teams left it all in the park.
Great result from Glasgow. So happy

Thankfully we have a two week gap before the final, plenty of time to recover from such a physical match.

Re: RP12 Semi-Final 1; Glasgow vs Munster, 16 May
What an effort!
Home advantage was huge here, and that was a great crowd if very hostile sometime.
Keatley taking the kick instead of the best kicker in the league probably cost Munster the win but i surely wont complain.
Nakarawa just edged Gray for motm in my opinion, he carried and tackled like a mad man.
Finn Russell's composure when taking these kicks was a sight to behold, he is the real deal.
I think i would prefer Leinster for the final, home advantage notwisthanding.

Re: RP12 Semi-Final 1; Glasgow vs Munster, 16 May
If I'm honest we perhaps went too far tonight however it was a big game and the ref was absolutely atrocious, not biased just atrocious, and fell for a lot of your players "tactics" whether or not you describe these as cheating or a streetwise style it will always rub any opposition up the wrong way. To describe us as unpleasant is ridiculous, we were not rude to posters just critical of the ref and negative tactics, the closest we got to rude to other posters was the debate with Notch, whom 99.99% of the time is very astute, it was not unpleasant just the kind of debate that this forum is made for. If anyone is bitter it is not us, and if you were to describe us as unpleasant please look at other threads and Scotland threads.

Re: RP12 Semi-Final 1; Glasgow vs Munster, 16 May
On another note Glasgow were fantastic tonight and the partisan crowd really added to the occasion, I don't think I've ever been as proud of a Scottish rugby team. Furthermore only a few of our players were not Scottish, this is a very good team with very good players and a very good coach.

Re: RP12 Semi-Final 1; Glasgow vs Munster, 16 May
Guys - dinnae whinge about the ref. Personally I thought he did well. Early on he laid out his stall - he was going to give pens for holding on quickly. And he did - consistently which made the breakdown a fair contest.
He was harsh - even picky but consistent and missed little. NO major errors that I would be confident he got wrong without my tartan bunnet on. All the ones I thought wrong at full speed were fine with the replays
So overall I thought him consistent and fair and contributed to an open game
Munster maybe got the rub of the green but I bet the munster fans will point to "mistakes" as well.

What a great game tho. Two teams who came to play rugby and to play with pride. Treated us to some real good entertainment with a nerve jangling finale.

Ja., But let's be Frank here.
Its very possibly a Leinster v Glasgow Final at the RDS.
And that would bring me joy. May even go home for it. May even buy Schitz a pint. Nah.
I didn't read back. Don't know what caused the bad vibes. But. I'm glad Warriors have made the Final.
Just hope we can join them. Ulster are on a mission to stop that. I fear we may not match em on the night. But, we normally have the voodoo on em. Whatever happens.. gotta Love rugby.
P.S. Dawnt be kunst to each other. Its aawnly a game Jon.
