This is a frak disgrace. How can they not see that come off a Munster hand?!
Kellock really is underpowered at this level though.

Well, you could try falling over and waving your arms at an exaggerated manner at the ref.
How does getting into fights help you win the game? They will try and make you lose your discipline. You have to avoid that pitfall.
I'm not saying to turn it into a fight just that Earls cheated and Munster scored despite/ as a result. Glasgow should have had a penalty. That it is inarguable. Unless in your form of rugby you do not have to have the ball to be tackled.
Oh yeah, should have been a penalty but Dunbar made a stupid decision which basically stopped it being given.
So we're accepting the try should not have been allowed and that a Munster player cheated?
Well of course but that doesn't matter now does it? The scores on the board. The difference in the scoreline is down to Dunbar losing his head and Munster being that wee bit cuter.
Oh come ON. Look at it again. Do you really think Dunbar could have just stood there pleading? Tell me you would have done that. Early basically piles into him to take him over the tryline.
I think we have to accept that for some reason Irish provinces, especially Munster, are above such things as laws and the opposition should accept a pummelling or accept that cheating should be allowed

Aye, because Dunbar grabs him! He can't argue with that when he starts it. He needs to be making an effort to get free and back into the line. Leave the refs no option instead of picking a fight.

This is hilarious lads. I'm not even supporting Munster in this game, I want Glasgow to win... I'm pointing out you can't let them wind you up.

I see your point but Earls has hold of him on the floor for at least 5 seconds, closer to 10, before that. You're saying in a semi final where these get missed quite often, you wouldn't have escalated to "get the Frak off pal" by then?
The fact is nobody noticed until they came storming out of the line fighting.

Heard that Earls has been offered a contract as a guard in the NFL

Re: RP12 Semi-Final 1; Glasgow vs Munster, 16 May
But they are cheating not "winding the opposition" up, let's stop using euphemisms to describe negative play
Although I take back my general comment about Irish provinces, I get hair on the back of my necks watching Ulster in the Heineken cup and they play good rugby. Leinster are sublime on their day and a joy to watch. The less said about Munster the better. They play negative rugby under a facade of experience and the attitude of "streetwise".

I think that if he doesn't react that way, he probably does get the penalty though. Fine margins.
Think if Glasgow carry this lead into half-time it's a fair reflection on the game.

Well, the two things are much the same in this case. They know what they can get away with. It's an extremely useful attribute for any team to have.
It's the main reason I would prefer to meet Glasgow in the Final than Munster, I think. Munster know how to con the more inexperienced refs.

Think if the TMO wasn't an idiot, he gets the penalty too. Fine margins.
I do get your point, I do. I just think the initial aggressor needs to be penalised in that instance or it'll continue allowing people to cheat/wind up opposition forevermore

What I don't get though, is they'll rule out tries for a marginal pass 30m up field. But you take out and judo throw a defender and there's no repercussions???

As I said, I think the reason that wasn't given was Dunbar was rightly or wrongly perceived as starting it.

Here, you'll all love this! One of the guys from RTE on twitter is saying Damien Varley was caught on camera alleging to the ref that he's 'not reffing it fairly' at HT. I think that has to do with him being pulled back off the ball a few minutes from the break there.
Always the sign of a weak ref, when both sides have grievances.
