Arsenal to win at a canter 3-0 over a Hull side that's been on the slide towards the back end of the season

Hoping for another surprise result but it's probably too much to ask 2 years in a row.

Arsenal 2-0, possibly a hammering if they score more.
Hopefully Hull play positive, like Wigan did last year in the final, and not just stick ten men behind the ball and hope for the best.

If anyone wants to warm up on the Scottish FA Cup... Kay has started a thread.

Dundee United agonisingly close there a moment ago.

I'm expecting 1-0 to one team, more likely Arsenal, but wouldn't be surprised to see Hull nick it.

Hoping Hull can get the win, it would be funny to see Arsenal fail again. Something about a 5pm cup final that just irks me though.

Strange time to kick off. Do the shadows start to creep over the field at an awkward time?
When was the kick off previously? 3pm?

Yeah always used to be 3pm, but the FA have decided to change the time. Not sure I'll watch it, the game from Spain has a lot more riding on it.

Re: FA Cup Final: Arsenal v Hull City
Doesn't feel like the old days when I'd be biting nails off in the build up. Something about the way everything is so sanitised and professional these days... the players are very different too.
Quality and skill is different too with all the international players now. I miss the days when it was mostly all English players with the odd sprinkling of Scottish, Irish and Welsh players. There were some really good thrilling contests at the old Wembley Stadium. Quite a few matches permanently etched in my memory.
Mysti... would have been good to see something like an Arsenal - Palace final with their late season form. Interest would be greater, no?
(no disrespect to Hull... they did very well to get there)

That Hull team really is weak. If Arsenal don't win this, i don't know what to say, i would even go as far to say, this is an easier game than against Wigan.

Re: FA Cup Final: Arsenal v Hull City
I'm sure some people will find watching paint dry more exciting than this Cup Final. I honestly can't see Hull causing an upset. It's a hot day, keeping possession will be key for Arsenal & it will be tough work for the Hull lads. Without Jelavic or Long, I don't see much threat attacking-wise to hurt Arsenal. Arsenal 2-0 or something like that.
Agree, just doesn't have the same feel that F.A Cup finals had back in the day, even in the early 2000's.

Re: FA Cup Final: Arsenal v Hull City
I think it has suffered this year being wedged between a very exciting Premier League season and the World Cup, so people are burnt out after the PL and more interested in the international sides right now.

A bit like me with the cricket, mate. I'm just a bit burnt out.
I just hope it's not a boring 1-0 to Arsenal. A 3-2 scoreline would make this late night worth it for me!

Excellent showing from Hull in that first half.
Arsenal's defending at set pieces is atrocious. The Arse score next they win.

No excuse, would he mark Bruce Davies and Chester?
All players have to defend and attack.
