Hull haven't shown enough ambition in the 2nd half. Can't rely on keeping Arsenal at bay for 45 minutes.
Game on.

Sometimes its too difficult. Big occasion against better players. Mentally and physically difficult

I can't believe Merts almost gave it back to them by falling down. Hull were lucky not to give up 4 or 5, Nick can you just stop with your silly comments they go beyond the pale even by your typical low standards. Come on boys kill it off and the cup is ours.

Never in doubt after the Quarter Finals really.
Happy for Wenger. Should leave on a high now, or it will be 9 more years of failure IMO.

Good luck to Hull and their fans they were a whisker from going up 3-0 in the first 15 minutes. Cazorla's free kick was epic, Kos nicked one on the set piece and Ramsey finally came good in extra time. I freaking love it. I was miserable most of the night but now I feel elated.

Re: FA Cup Final: Arsenal v Hull City
Well done both teams.
gutted for the hull fans. Happy for the arsernal fans players and Wenger.
tbh the game could have been over as there were about 5 pen shouts. Anyway it is what it is. Ramsey wasn't good most of the game and I thought Wilshire should have come on earlier . But Ramsey come good in the end . Class is permanent.
I really like Gibbs as well. If England had 4th best players as good as him in all positions. We would walk the WC.

Might be the peak for Hull. Without serious investment they may well struggle with the demands of Europe.

I think psychologically Arsenal needed this, and scars from past failures has shown in the both the semi and final. Major show of character in face of that

Re: FA Cup Final: Arsenal v Hull City
Well done Arsenal.
A final low in quality, but high in excitement.
Defending? Atrocious by both sides. Arsenal showed sparks of good interplay in the second half and extra time, but the first three goals before that were due to woeful defence, and the Cazorla free-kick should have been saved. The winner was fantastic, a lovely back-heel by Giroud (who had let his frustrations get the better of him for a large quantity of the game) and a smart finish by Ramsey.
Lee Probert, a referee who I generally think is decent, was abhorrent. Arsenal should have had four penalties. Hull's free-kick was eight yards in front of where it should have been. Fryatt was penalised whilst through on goal for absolutely nothing. I don't think there has been more sub-standard refereeing all season. Luckily justice was done.
Of course it all came down to two crucial moments: Gibbs' clearance off the line which stopped it being 0-3 and, in all probability, game over, and Aluko's moment of panic when there was a golden chance to equalise.
Well done Arsenal, it was deserved. And contrary to some odd opinions on here, you've also had a difficult run to the final, so very well played.

Lovely little back-heel by Giroud in that John.
I really feel for Hull. Those players, a real manager like Steve Bruce who is coated off so much but has done a lot of good work. And the fans, absolutely heartbroken they'll be.

It was a beautifully worked goal great pass from Giroud and a wonderful finish. Only if, only if we had Ramsey all year. Oh well the FA cup is a great trophy to win.

Re: FA Cup Final: Arsenal v Hull City
Well done Arsenal, made hard work of it in the semi's & the final but what matters is your name is on the cup. Arsenal aren't a great side, need serious investment in key areas but this is a starting point to build upon.
As for Giroud throughout that game, regardless of the back-heel . Sanogo looks worse than most five year olds. Arsene man up & buy some serious firepower for next season.

Yeah it was fitting for Ramsey to get the winner. What a player he's turned into.
