Re: Amlin Cup Final
Hi chaps no sign of CJ getting a team in. I will not put in tactics and will play a typical rainy game. Shall we enter his last amlin side ?

Re: Amlin Cup Final
I've pm'ed CJ as hes usually on during the day. If he hasn't a team sheet in by tonight I'll stick his semi final team up. Told him tactics aren't necessary as your happy to go without Matt

Re: Amlin Cup Final
Gloucester Rugby 18-15 Worcester Warriors
Scrum: More from the Glaws props here but the 2nd row a little under-powered stops them from getting overly on top.
Lineout: Both sides should do enough to hold their own ball. Maul looks a good weapon for Worc.
Breakdown: Barclay capable of the odd turnover but Glaws should see some good clean ball with a powerful mobile side.
HB's: Fairly even overall. Class of Carter vs some good form for Trinc Duc.
Attack: More from Glaws in midfield and the back three but conditions stop them somewhat. Bit more of a carrying game and feel Scott & Dagg give them the edge kicking.
Defence: Kuindrani can be pulled around positionally.
Bench: Form issues in some of the forwards for Glaws but the backs are more capable.
Tactics: N/A. Messy messy game here. Real battle between the packs but feel Glaws have the more variety in kicking and can keep Worcester deeper for longer.

Re: Amlin Cup Final
Gloucester Rugby 23 - 15 Worcester Warriors
Tough game in the conditions. Both are strong, but Wuss just lack a little of the carrying ability of the strong Glaws forwards. Warriors are a bit cleverer at the breakdown however, with Barclay pilfering a good amount of of turnover ball for his side. The likes of Carter and Dagg thrive of the forward momemtum and this allows them to create time and space for their runners. Trinh-Duc though gets the turnover ball into the hand of Le roux and Campagnaro who will devastate with their pace. In the end the strong bench of Gloucester sees them end the season with a trophy, but a well done must go to Warriors for making it this far even though they went down in the league - getting into the final is a great achievement regardless.

Gloucester 27 - 22 Worcestser
Worcs give this a decent go but as he game wears on the Gloucs stars pull away. Tough end to the campaign for worcs but a decent squad to build with. Gloucs will take the win but will surely have higher dreams next year.

Re: Amlin Cup Final
Gloucester 28-24 Warriors
Gloucester have the stronger front row but Worcester have a stronger second row. Both back rows are strong with Alberts being someone who can offer great go forward for Gloucester. Half backs are one each with form possibly on Warriors side. I think the outside backs go to Warriors. The advantage on the bench goes to Gloucester. Overall their more experienced players probably help them take it

Gloucester 17 - 13 Warriors
Tight game, weather conditions won't help either team but mats team are more suited to them and awesome bench to see them win.

Re: Amlin Cup Final
Well done Matt! Knew it was going to be a tough one to win and then when I forgot to think up some equalising tactics I wasn't holding out much hope at all!
