The "All-in" Junior world cup thread
First topic message reminder :
With 6 games on today didnt feel like jumping around the various u20 posts for each side...
On now is Scotland vs SA- Scots ahead after 16 mins 5-0, now SA 7-5 after 18.
Wales are leading Fiji 14-5 after scoring a try after 7 seconds! An average kick of to the left was left to bounce by the Fijians and Wales came through at full pace catching the ball after the bounce and scored in the corner. Other than the ball bouncing I don't think you can get a quicker try.
Aus thrashed Argie 36-17.

England should really put a big score on this SA team second half.

Great bit of play by England.
Line outs going to pot though at least despite his size Thacker is great at hitting his target.

Need to sort their line out problems at halftime.
Cut out the errors and England might have a chance.

Tompkins' run was very good in the build up to that, he seems a special player to me.

England under the whip for most of the first half. Did well to snatch the lead right at the end. 2nd half going to be a cracker. SA have beaten England the last two tournaments in a row...third time but in the final would be perfect

Reckon there should have been a card there. The Boks killed the balled cynically in the red zone when England were on the attack.

English kill the ball in the danger zone, gift 3 to SA.

What is wrong with the Hobbs turnover there? He was first on the scene, he released and he was on his feet.

the ref seems to not want to allow the defending team to contest the ball at rucks?

Is the English hooker Tom Youngs' younger brother? - would be better off as a centre.

Good try SA - England missed at least 2 tackles there. Poor defending.

Is scrummaging in the SH becoming an optional phase these days.

Was just thinking how good Tomkins looked and then he missed a tackle like that. Missed kick from Burns that would have made it 24-11, now back to 21-20, fine margins

England have had their scrum on toast all night but we're not getting any reward because every feed has been squint.

Referee not penalising England at all in their red zone, but very quick on the whistle in the SA red zone

Phew....
SA lucky in that Pollard could've been carded in the first half and another could've been given for the penalty at the start of the second.
Exciting game
