Michael Owen in the early 2000's is up there with the Fernando Torres early Liverpool years as the most clinical strikers I've seen

I always felt he might score when he was on the pitch for England. I can't say the same for Rooney, I mostly feel like he'll give the ball away a lot.

The league table needs to be in alphabetical order.

What else needs sorting?

Deadlines I suppose. Final agreement in lawyers, TPs and injuries.

Need a league name.

I'm into a meeting for a few hours shortly so sort it between yourselves.

In all seriousness that is going to be a tough match for Murray, Nadal is brilliant on clay, his record proves that.

I worry that the semi will be too big for Murray.

It'll be a tight squeeze, but I think Nadal will penetrate Murray at the baseline.

Get your tactics in for the end of the week and give the voter the weekend and monday (though with 1 person its not critical)

Murray can't let the crowd put him off, this is the hardest semi of his life and he doesn't want to lose it.

There are some cracking quotes in the old Azzrentice threads:

Hero wrote:The Chelsea 'Blue' Print
The transfer window
In:
Courtois: 2m recall
Lukaku: Freebie
Fellaini: Sturridge + 10m
Cavani: 30m

Out:
Sturridge: PX to Everton
Malouda to Marseille 5m
Mikel to AC Milan 10m

Fellaini - Signing the big Belgian is an essential move for Chelsea Football Club for several reasons. Firstly that he adds much needed height to our midfield. This was something that was solely lacking against Juventus in the Champions League with clearances from Cech being easily won by the opposition defenders. Having someone like Fellaini there to knock it down to Mata/Hazard/Oscar will allow them to play their natural games. Fellaini has constantly proved this season how hard he is to play against and therefore will allow us to dominate more matches. Ideally we will be looking at him going box to box in the Yaya Toure role which will allow him to smash through the opposition. We believe that a deal that sees Sturridge and cash going the other way should be enough to release him from Everton.

Why Chosen? - Adds much needed height to our midfield
- Going box to box he can allow us to control the game
- Has amazing hair that will link up well with David Luiz's
- Is available to play in the Champions League and will be playing teams that will have seen very little of him

onlytreblewinners wrote:
THE FACKTS PRESENTATION

PLAYERS IN
Yann M'Vila - £16m - Rennes

Yann is a player who has been highly sought after in the past and has had his attitude questioned from many people. However his talent as a DM cannot be questioned and we want to take him on as we feel he has a point to prove. He would also help us plug a hole in our team at DM, we feel he is an improvement on Mikel. Taking him on may be a risk, but we will nurture him and give him all the tools to become the top top midfielder that he can become.
And this was not that long ago  Laugh

Sugar would sign Ward-Prowse. He likes English kids in his teams. Like Nick Barmby. He doesn't like dealing with agents, especially foreign ones like Schneiderlin's.

Also, I have rounded my player values. £4.04m = £4m, £742.5k = £750k etc. We all need to do that else we'll all have stupid budgets.
