As long as the wing backs are hard working it could work.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXIV
My plan was to play wingers rather than wing backs and not as hard working as wing backs. Probably get voted against if I go for that
Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXIV
Depends, the CMs would have to cover the gaps out wide against counter attacking sides

I know they have some relatively unpleasant fans. Like an Italian Millwall, playing in yellow.

Buffon and Di Natale bought in, happy with basing the team around two solid players. I wish we could have bought in more players 2 seem less.
Except doing transfers how else do we raise cash?

Money has value I guess.
I'm burning 1000 calories a day in the gym, moved up from 500 that's 2 pounds a week.

Koeman to Saints. Good or bad? I can't decide.
Always seems to be a guy that has a good start and a disappointing second or third season.

That could be counter-productive. If your body doesn't get enough calories it goes into 'starvation mode', where your body stores fat and makes it nigh-impossible to shift. You could end up losing 2,000 calories through exercise but essentially only lose 50cal of fat.VivaPaulScholes wrote:Money has value I guess.

Paulo Bento
Most tedious conservative manager in the tournament
Who seriously picks Hugo Almeida and Miguel Veloso yet leaves William Carvalho on the bench.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXIV
Greece, Italy and Russia in the sweepstake. Not bad but could have been better. Could get to the semi finals with Italy. But unlikely imo.
With England, I think a 4-4-2 suits them perfectly. No matter if it doesn't fit into the modern game anymore, it does for England as it can be easily adapted. They can have the same back 4 as usual, but have Sterling and Welbeck just dropping into a slightly deeper position of wide midfield with Rooney and Sturridge up top. Welbeck can help back well so he is just like a wide man but Sterling can use his pace to push on further with Baines into an attacking position and almost make a 4-3-3 for them. Then you can have Rooney dropping into the hole to collect the ball with Sturridge linking up with him closely like he does with Suarez. I think England could be successful with 4-4-2.
Are Foreign's open today? How many transfers are we allowed per day?

This is my big problem with Rooney for England. People see the best performance by England against a big nation since about 2004 and because Rooney was out of position we have to revert back to suit him.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXIV
Rooney is a player that can have an impact in the game because he has been so good for so long. It would be difficult for any England manager to just leave him out of the team completely. I wouldn't. Also, it isn't just to suit him, it does suit the whole England team does 4-4-2 imo.
Can you exchange players in Foreign transfers?

Actually thought Pepe was a bit hard done by getting sent off. Then again, he is a massive, massive pr1ck.
It's only been 12 years Azzy. Marc Wilmots with his mad overhead kick against the Japanese is the only memory I have of them from 2002 though.

Why do you support Belgium Azzy? Do you still play Medieval RPG?
Anyone here own or owned a Nintendo 3DS? Thinking of getting one.

I don't like portable gaming as a thing at all though. Gaming is a full body, lazy experience. I don't want someone on a sweaty tube train watching over my shoulder as I kill zombies.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXIV
Can I just clarify a couple of things?
Tactics due in next Monday, so we will have another set of lawyers before tactics deadline?
Is it based on a squad cut off from the end of Sunday?
The reason I ask is I need to work out if I can play my two lawyer players this week and then sell them before the new lawyers go up next week

My best friend is Belgian, and when I went through my anti-England phase (1997-2011), we both supported Belgium. We've been through good and bad times, but we still have the shirts and flags all ready for tonight.
This also helped when Carl Hoefkens signed for Albion, having the flag and face paints was kind of obvious...
Wilmots was a fantastic player back in the day. Scored in all three group games before we woz robbed by Brazil.

I've got a feeling that Belgium won't do as good as people are expecting. Bar Januzaj and Fellaini and Vermalen if he joins I hope they have a stinker, I don't like Hazard or Kompany.
