First topic message reminder :

Born Slippy wrote:Murray is surely going to go all out attack in the SF. I can't see him beating Nadal who is starting to look close to his peak form. However, if he can give him a tough match that will be very encouraging for Wimbledon.

Yep, it'll be all guns blazing I imagine. Going after every return he can and trying to end points quickly. It'll be fun to watch, but if you offered me a 4 set defeat for Muzza now I'd bite your hand off.

Nole seems to have slowed down these last few games; lucky Rafa has not yet punished him.

I think Rafa is not at his best so far. Several surprising loose forehands at key moments in the first set like a mid court miss to lose a break.

If Nadal loses this set. It's curtains. The "Novak factor" is certainly playing on his mind cos the forehand has been below par when he's needed it.

you have to give credit to Novak's backhand and return for part of the miss hits on Nadal's FH. The ball is coming back deeper and harder than he is expecting it on that forehand and he is being hurried and pushed wider than usual as well.

Good point for Nadal to win the set and match improving with some better rallies. Rafa upped his level and forehand looking more reliable at the moment. Still a shame to see a break lost on a simple volley error from Novak.

You'd think people would know having watched this match up umpteen times that serve real momentum changes are expected when they meet.

Nadal is in the zone at the moment but I'm wary of Djokovic's inevitable resurgence. I've got to agree with Courier - that forehand is simply the best.

I really find this alternate angle (from behind the players) the broadcasters occasionally show quite annoying though.

Not a fan of Djokovic, or using illness as an excuse for defeat, but I thought Djokovic has looked rather flat, in the latter parts of a match. Cilic, I think could have had him, if he'd sneaked that fourth set, as Djokovic's levels dipped, quite quickly. Hope it's just the flu, or a nagging cold, and that he's fine for London.
