Interview with....
Johnathon Banks. The man closest to the heavyweight champion of the world is going to be talking to me (unfortunately for him) Wednesday night in an interview which will feature on v2boxing.com and in next months magazine.

Re: Interview with....
Do Vitali take greater interest in his brother's career, now that hes retired?
Is Vitali retired?
You Have a decent record as fighter in your own right. Do you think training little brother, has hindered your own progress?
What on earth happened in the Mitchell rematch?

How do you think the heavyweight scene would currently look without Emmanuel's influence over the past decade?

Re: Interview with....
After the first Mitchell fight you were being talked of in regards to wlad, would you fight him? What are your ambitions as a fighter?
Do you enjoy training fighters or boxing more?
Who wins in a no holds barred fight vitali or Putin?
What has become of the kronk gym?
You've decent power, have you ever caught wlad clean?
Wlad enjoys a good hug, is he as touchy feely outside the ring?

Re: Interview with....
What does Wlad think/say when he hears Fury proclaim his greatness?
What are the difficulties of holding down two jobs, i.e. coach/boxer, dont you think it dappens your ambition, or at least hints at a latent desire to remove yourself from fighting?
Do you think coaching has disadvantaged you in some way? In the sense that, now you're more aware of the psychological aspect of coaching, when a coach employs a psychological technique to produce a desired outcome you kind of see straight through it and think to yourself "oh yeah, I can see what hes trying to do there"? I see that as a disadvantage for any sportsman, do you?

Re: Interview with....
Are you employed as a coach AND sparring partner to Wlad, if at times you're employed as a sparing partner who is the ring observer articulating corrections.
As a coach, when you spar, do you periodically stop the session to give advice ( knowing that by giving advice you are fulfilling your coaching duty but making your life as a sparring partner that little bit more dufficult should the advice be heeded?) Can you see the conflict of interest there?

Re: Interview with....
I've mainly found coaches, who've fought competitevely, like to stamp the style they used as a fighter onto their mentees - it's familiar, within their comfort zone, and has sentiment. With that in mind, do you think being a large man precludes, or at least hinders, your ability to coach lightweight boxers such as fly weights for instance? Or, vice versa, do you think a flyweight would struggle to coach someone of Wlads stature?

The great lightweight Jack Blackburn trained Joe Louis.

Re: Interview with....
Given Manny Steward made Wlad the fighter he is and it's been such a success for so long, what do you feel you bring to the table to improve him? It's generally felt that he's unlikely to break the habit of a lifetime and become an all-out front foot wrecking machine so is it just a case of "Business as Usual" or have you been able to make your mark?

If YOU fought Wladimir, how would YOU propose to beat him?
