New Zealand v England 3rd test & the 2nd test review
First topic message reminder :
1000 posts and the 2nd test thread is blocked time to move onto the 3rd test in Hamilton.
What are England's chances of securing a win?
Could NZ win convincingly?
Will it be close again?
Who will play?
How much will the referee affect the game?
Let the banter begin..................
Oh, and feel free to discuss test's 1 and 2.

I'm trying to work out who's worse, the ref or us.
Yellow card for that tackle? i've seen them given as play on. Then Read coming around the outside of a maul trying to slap the ball out of B. Youngs hands?

Well at least its a wake up call that England are simply not as good as too many people are suggesting.
Defence - One on ones school boy poor
Attack - Ponderous, predictable, Lack of any meaning
Power - We actually look underpowered physically

It pains and surprises me to say it, but I think Guscott may have actually called it. We've been slow, inaccurate, and lazy. But the worst thing is how poor our pack and one on one tackling has been. The ABs haven't had to anything here at all.
Could be a record score?

We were going to get a kicking, but the yellow card, which was an awful decision, is going to make it a cricket score. It's destroyed the game as a spectacle and contest sadly.

garces totally rubbish decision. he can't penalise burns for that. how much effort does someone have to make?
he gave that then realised actually robshaw was onside so he had to blame something else. if it had been burns his hand should have gone up 5 seconds earlier.

They look knackered. Not only at the end of the season but trying to keep up with a fresh All Black team.

Why can't any of our back three make a one on one tackle?

Bold call from Richie. Set piece going well but 3 points went begging then. I like the intent but sometimes ticking it over is enough.
Then the try comes. This half time break can't come soon enough for England. They have no answer at the moment.

Tired and poor.
Another clinical try. This is a hammering.
Hopefully the "76" is safe...

Hood83 - poor sport is all I can say to your comment. The way the AB's are playing I'm not sure any team would live with them so accept that they are on a different planet tonight or else pipe down.

England backline defence is woeful.
Yarde isn't committing to any tackles.

They're a tired good side. At their best and freshest they're a way off the All Blacks. At their 'worst'? Well that what we're seeing. Lot's of new combinations in the backs (again), knackered, All Blacks with two games under their belt and shaking off the rust...

ok its clearly game over. england need to clear their minds, and play aggressive attacking rugby. throw the ball around, be proud and try training ground stuff. nothing to lose

A lot of people look p**ssed.... Anyone who's english watching.
The one thing England are normally is difficult to beat and well organised. The defensive organisation is just shocking. They're playing good stuff, but we aren't exactly making them work for it.

No Nathan but im saying all the hype about this England side is over the top. We have improved beyond recognition but we are still a million miles from where we think we are.

Bit of both. I don't want to take credit away from the ABs today who've been excellent, but they haven't had to be. Some players I think we believe are better than they are coughTomWoodcough, but the same should be said for the coaches. The narrowness of our midfield was crying out to be exploited, it was. And we haven't found a single inventive way to attack this team.
A record score? You can't paper over this.

Love sacks, typical english defeatist talk.
In sport it doesn't always go your way, nobody has said we're at the top and we're where we want to be. People have said we're improved which we have.
