Poor game. I really was hoping for better. Tigers never looked like creating a try. Too many mistakes from Toulon. I hate cynical play to try to draw pens and tigers were at it all game - and Toulon too stupid to stop them.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2014/15 Thread.
Nathan - even Healy commented on it twice. Holding the jumper in the air to draw the tackle in the air, holding players in the ruck. When Austin Healey comments on an english team cheating playing a french team there must be something in it.
Tigers deserved the win tho - no question.
I just hate cynical cheating from wherever it comes.

Tj, what about the missed knock-ons, the unpenalised offsides that Healey also mentioned?
Oh that's right, they were from a non English team so you didn't see it.
Your getting a bit easy to read on these forums mate

Thats mistakes not attempts to cheat so somewhat different. I was quite happy for tigers to win - indeed I wanted them to but I dislike teams attempting to draw penalties.
I say again - when Healey spots attempts to draw penalties and criticises an english team playing a french team for it there must be some truth in the matter. Win at all costs even at the expense of sportsmanship? Its a poor thing to do.

And what does that have to do with anything. So my team is crap. I ain't the only one.

So being offside is no longer cheating, it's just a "mistake"

Great result for humanity against the evil Toulon. Now you just have to beat them in France to finish them off. Then beat Ulster and Scarlets. Simples. What an easy group.

There's talk on the planet rugby forums that s. Armitage called the crowd inbred cu**s. Not sure how true that is though

Re: Leicester Tigers 2014/15 Thread.
Castro has a very deluded view to how his Leicester career ended.
Cole was better
Toulon wanted castro talked to his agent etc
Castro wanted to move to Toulon
Leicester happy with that if Toulon brought out his contract (Wanted a large amount of money)
Toulon didn't said deal was of
Castro desperate
Tigers saying no
Castro then buys himself out
Leaves in a very upset anger attitude towards tigers management.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2014/15 Thread.
Absolutely thrilled with that. Expected the forwards to be up for it and was hoping the backs wouldn't be able to Frak it up too much. YBY clear man of the match for me but had his worst moment of the game just as Healy was making his choice. Castro was at it all game really, but that's not a surprise - as his ability has declined he has been relying more and more on being a WUM. In his last year at Leicester he would try and start something after almost every scrum.
Hate to be a tool but I really can't see it happening next week. The backs are still creating very little without a bosher at 13 and I think I'm starting to become more worried than the opposition players whenever the ball goes near Goneva.
Still though, so happy to see some of that Leicester dog. Thorn has been fantastic this year, I'd love to see him stick around for one more.

No seriously you call Toulon the United Nations, but your team coached by a Kiwi needed a Welsh man to kick all there goals and a Kiwi to score their only Try! just saying you sound a bit of a tool.nathan wrote:DeludedOptimistorjustDave wrote:nathan wrote:FecklessRogue wrote:Great result for humanity against the evil Toulon. Well Done Tigers!
I'm an Ulster fan but I hope you win in France, because you are a rugby team. Toulon are still a bunch of mercenaries who have little soul to bind them together. Cockerill may be a kn*b but at least he is a tiger through and through and along with Rob Baxter, he still believes in the ethos of Webb Ellis at heart.
(Don't expect to win in Belfast though)

Yes i do,here is a run down,
You called Toulon the UN of rugby because of their largely non French player base. FACT.
I pulled you up on this because i think it is a bit sad of you to say it, so i bring out that the Tigers have a Kiwi coach and in this win over the UN not one home based player scored any of the Tigers points. FACT.
So yep pretty well thought out,you just don't like what i have to say so you cry off WUM because you can't argue the FACTS i have give you.
Enjoy the win,no need to be such a tool about the losing teams player selection policy especially when nearly 50% of the tigers match day squad are non English.
Just saying.
