Yeah Vazquez at career 135 fighter, who's rarely much over 140 on fight night, dodges a fight with a guy who enters the ring as a super welterweight...

Vazquez might've fought at the welterweight limit, but he never weighted in close to 147lbs.

The two fights with Canelo, Vazquez was closer to 135 than 147.

141 and 148 a quick check would suggest Gerry.

Is that the rehydration weight? Because the first Canelo fight was at 140lbs, not 147lbs. Misprint in the newspaper I've seen it on.

That would be the official weigh in weights, non title fights are quite lax with the weight so a pound over here and there isn't a big issue.

Perhaps...seems a bit off anyway. The paper says it was a 140lbs fight. Interest says it was a 147lbs.

The rematch was 100% a 147lbs fight.

When Limond fought Morales it was a light welterweight fight yet both of them weighed above 140lbs.

True. I don't really like all that TBH. If you agree to a fight you should make the weight. Otherwise don't bother.
