Roberto Di Matteo has been placed on gardening leave with immediate effect.Eddie Newton and Ade Mafe have also left the club with immediate effect.First team coach Michael Appleton will take control of first team affairs being assisted by reserve team coach Keith Downing until a new manager is appointed.
Absolute joke of a decision, gutted.Jeremy Peace is going to face mass protests from the fans on this one I think. He's sacked one of the brightest and best young managers in the country, and by the looks of it will replace him with someone with the same or less experience in Premier League management.Peace is destroying my club.

Re: Roberto Di Matteo Sacked
Horrible decision by the board. Quite shocked by this to be honest.
Hughton as his replacement?

Absolute bummer. My choice would be getting Martin Jol(Who used to play for us) with Hughton as his assistant.More likely to be either Hughton by himself,Derek Mcinness or Appleton(IE the cheap option.)

Is Martin Jol out of a club or is he still at Ajax?

He quit Ajax,Highly unlikely it will happen I'd think.Hughton definitely a possibility.

Fair do's. No reason why West Brom can't go for him.
