Why would you get the TM value? Trebs signed him knowing his age.

Good on you Cherries. Go out and celebrate later  RedWine

Nothing, you lose the player and you don't receive TM value. It's happend to me in the past, that's the risk you take signing old players.

Why on Earth would someone say to you well done on Christmas? It'd not like you're the father of Jesus. "Oh well done Joseph on your sons  2013 birthday"

I'm out of the title race and as such a neutral, but I don't think it's fair if Trebs gets to pick a player who's retired. If he does, I'd expect the voter to vote him down as 10 men.

Sheep will be tomorrow.

In absolute fairness, its late in the week and hes used both TPs already (admittedly one on a brilliant CB). I'm prepared to give people 1 week to replace retired players, before they depart for nothing.

If the voter chooses to take into account hes retired, thats his/hers personal choice.

I agree with GSC's assessment. Retiring players are a nightmare to regulate.

Point should be made he can't now be released for 50% of TM value or receive a lawyer next week. His value should be null.

It won't make any difference when I vote on Treb's game.

IMO van Buyton has been a liability and anyone who stuck a forward with even a little bit of pace would get goals. In fact Treb's you must have the slowest CB pairing ever put together. It could only be slower if you put Akinfenwa and Jon Parkin together at CB

Spahic and Caldirola are both quick players. Barzagli isn't the fastest but is decent and has the positioning and tackling ability to make up for mediocre pace. Van Buyten was brilliant for Belgium during the world cup. afro, stop trying to downmark my players because you're a title rival.

I like Lascelles a lot, and I'm glad a couple have called him brilliant Smile

Not trying to put down your players Trebs.

In fact, I deliberately avoided commenting on van Buyton until you could no longer play because of his retirement.

Barzagli is a brilliant defender but his game is not based on pace. He has Bonucci and Chiellini providing pace alongside him.

No comment on Caldirola and Spahic other than Caldirola is quick, Spahic is don't seem him as that quick.
