The other day I was thinking of who to give the bonus too and I thought of you as you answered my question on the best Subway aswell as the Nintendo Wii comment but then realised you're not part of the league. Now that you've joined I've taken that into consideration and you're leading in the race for the bonus.

League Table up.

Genk will be champions if they beat Verona, if they slip up Granada take the title and Palermo can take 2nd with a win.
Twente and Verona will contest 4th and 5th place.
Basel can take 6th if they beat Montpellier, a draw between those 2 sides means Getafe can move into 6th with a win.
Bordeaux could move up to 7th if results go their way.
Bremen can take 9th with a win and Bordeaux loss.
PAOK will finish bottom unless they beat Getafe and Bremen lose to Palermo.

Yeah that's cool, I'll send to Viva.

Anyone think next season we should have a couple of things to play for to split up the league a bit? Maybe top four get champions league or something and bottom two get relegated?

You'd need 2 leagues then Trebs unless you're going to allow the people that are "relegated" pick a squad to use in the league when i say that i mean a draft style team otherwise it would be fairly unfair to force them into a default squad.

Relegated would mean getting a team of similar level, but giving them plenty of cash to spend and first pick of lawyered players. Worked quite well in an old league. If their club has any players already in the league, then add TM Value of player to their budget.

Can't say id like that honestly. I don't see why people should have to give up their sides and get a new one without players they've worked to bring it only to have to start again. Most of them will have gone up in price so won't be able to bring them back and everyone's got a head start on them which makes it pointless because they will get relegated every season whilst rebuilding. So unless you're going to get them a side around the TM value of sides in league it won't work honestly.

Trebs' idea is a more realistic league but that isn't workable with transfers being unrealistic and a free-for-all.

The only way Trebs idea could work is figure out who has the highest club TM value at the end of the season then take anyway the price of players they want to keep from their original side and give them around that value from TM that's the only fair way ud be able to do it.

Alan Brazil is paid to talk sport, not talk mental health disorders. He is employed by a sport radio station to discuss sporting matters. Robin Williams' suicide had zero bearing on any sporting matter, and his comments - his own personal opinion - should not have been broadcast by the station. TV presenters and radio presenters around the world have been sacked for a lot less, and as he had fallen foul of his employers countless times in the past, this should have been the final straw.

My life is so much better without Talksport though. No more Selco adverts Yahoo
